Tadano TG800M-1

The Tadano TG-800M-1 was developed as a heavy-duty truck-mounted crane built to handle demanding lifting operations with high precision and strength. At its core, the crane features a 5-section boom constructed with a full-length power telescoping mechanism. The boom extends from 12.0 to 44.0 meters with a boom extension speed of 145 seconds across its 32.0-meter range. It’s supported by a hydraulic boom extension system using four double-acting hydraulic cylinders to ensure synchronized and stable deployment.

For additional reach, the TG-800M-1 includes a dual-stage swing-around jib extension measuring 9.5 or 15.0 meters, capable of being offset at angles of 5°, 30°, allowing flexible lift planning at site.

The crane is equipped with two high-capacity winches, both capable of single line speeds up to 104 m/min (high range, 2nd layer) and hook speeds of up to 8.0 m/min under full load (13-part line). The TG-800M-1 uses spin-resistant wire rope with specifications of 22mm × 240m for the main winch and 20mm × 175m for the auxiliary.

Powering the crane is a PE6 diesel engine, a 4-cycle inline 6-cylinder water-cooled engine delivering 200 PS at 2,200 rpm and torque output of 73 kg·m at 1,200 rpm. Hydraulic operations are supported by two high-pressure variable piston pumps and a high-pressure gear pump, all stored in a 985-liter hydraulic oil tank.

The crane carrier, model K-KG51V, is powered by a Nissan Diesel RDB engine—a V8-cylinder 14,313cc diesel producing 300 PS at 2,500 rpm with 100 kg·m of torque at 1,400 rpm. It features a constant-mesh manual transmission (5-speed with reverse), supported by semi-elliptical laminated leaf spring suspension and recirculating ball screw power steering. This provides excellent road handling and a max travel speed of 65 km/h with a turning radius of 11.9 meters.

For safety and operability, the TG-800M-1 includes an advanced automatic moment limiter system with detailed displays for moment, rated load, boom angle, boom length, and working radius. It also comes standard with winch drum locks, swing frame dismount devices, elevation counterbalance valves, and more.

With an on-site gross weight of 28,610 kg, the Tadano TG-800M-1 offers both stability and lifting muscle, making it ideal for infrastructure, utility, and industrial applications.
