Product Description
Debuting as a versatile workhorse in the 20-ton lifting class, the Tadano TL200M-1 is designed with efficiency and flexibility in mind. It features a fully hydraulic telescopic boom that ranges from 5.4 meters to 27.5 meters in length, and it can be further extended with an 8-meter jib, reaching a total lifting height of approximately 35 meters. The crane’s maximum lifting capacity is rated at 20,000 kg at a 2.6-meter radius, allowing it to handle a broad range of tasks with ease.
This truck crane is built on a 4-axle carrier, offering excellent roadability and travel speeds up to 80 km/h, supported by a transmission system with 8 forward and 1 reverse gear. The chassis is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D16-T diesel engine (132 kW / 180 PS), while the crane superstructure employs a separate Tadano hydraulic system driven by a 6D14 engine rated at 88 kW (120 PS). Both engines are compliant with emissions standards for their production era, and are known for their reliability and fuel efficiency.
The slewing system allows full 360° rotation, with a slewing speed of 2.2 rpm, and the hoisting mechanism provides a winching speed of 105 meters per minute (single line). The TL200M-1 supports multiple reeving configurations, ranging from 4 to 10 falls, depending on the lifting needs.
Operator comfort and safety are integral to this crane’s design. The operator’s cab is ergonomically configured, featuring standard climate controls and wide visibility, allowing for improved working conditions. The crane is equipped with Tadano’s AML safety system, which includes load moment indicators, automatic shutoff at overload, and working range limiters to ensure safe lifting performance under varied site conditions.
Stabilization is achieved through H-type outriggers with a maximum spread of 5.0 meters, enabling strong lifting stability even in tight job sites. The TL200M-1 also features hydraulic controls for boom elevation, extension, hoisting, and slewing, making it easy for the operator to conduct smooth, simultaneous multi-function operations.
