Product Description

The XCMG XCT80 truck crane is designed as an advanced 80-ton class lifting solution that blends robust structural design with precise hydraulic control. This model features a five-section main boom with a U-shaped cross-sectional, high-strength welded construction. The boom extends from 12.4 meters up to 47.5 meters, and when combined with its optional two-section lattice-type fixed jib, it achieves a maximum lifting height of 64 meters. The jib, which offers offset angles of 0°, 15°, and 30°, is available in 10.5-meter and 17.5-meter configurations, enhancing operational versatility on job sites.

Underpinning the XCT80 is a strong four-axle chassis with 1st and 2nd axles steering and 3rd and 4th axles driving. The chassis features an anti-torsion box-type frame constructed from high-strength imported steel, supporting high stability under load. Powering the crane is a choice of two inline six-cylinder diesel engines: the MC11.40-50 producing 297 kW at 1900 rpm with 1900 Nm peak torque, or the WP12.375E50 producing 276 kW at 1900 rpm with 1800 Nm torque. Both engines comply with China National V emission standards, providing efficient, clean power for both road travel and crane operation.

The transmission system features an Eaton mechanical gearbox offering 10 forward and 2 reverse gears, enabling maximum travel speeds up to 80 km/h and gradeability of 40%. Suspension systems include front axle steel spring suspension and rear axle rubber suspension, optimizing ride stability and off-road maneuverability. The crane rides on 12 large wheels (385/95R25 tires at the front, 12.00R24 at the rear) with air-operated dual-circuit braking systems for reliable stopping power.

The crane’s hydraulic system employs a load-sensitive proportional multi-way valve configuration, powered by a quadruple pump driven from the chassis engine. The main pump is variable displacement for hoisting, elevating, and telescoping, while gear pumps handle slewing and ancillary functions. The system uses an air-cooled hydraulic oil radiator and holds 1200 liters of hydraulic oil, ensuring reliable cooling and sustained performance in high-demand operations.

Main and auxiliary winches use hydraulic-controlled variable-speed systems with groove drums driven by planetary reducers, each equipped with built-in normally closed brakes and counterbalance valves. The main winch delivers up to 83 kN single-line pull with a maximum speed of 130 m/min using 20 mm diameter wire rope, while the auxiliary winch offers 58.6 kN pull and 110 m/min line speed.

Slewing operations are powered by a three-row roller slewing ring combined with a planetary reducer, delivering stepless variable-speed rotation up to 1.9 rpm. Elevation from -1° to 79° takes approximately 70 seconds, while boom extension from 12.4 meters to 47.5 meters takes roughly 150 seconds.

Safety features include a load moment indicator (LMI), anti-two block system, hydraulic relief valves, hydraulic balance valves, a tri-color load warning light, winch monitoring system, outrigger pressure sensors, and anemometer. The crane also features height limiters on the boom tip and overwinding protection on the winches, ensuring operational safety and preventing overload conditions.

The operator cab is designed for comfort and visibility, featuring panoramic safety glass windows with sun shields, front and roof wipers, ergonomic seat design, dual joystick controls, sliding door with pull-out step, air conditioning, and optional reversing camera system. The cab can tilt to improve operator visibility during high-lift operations.

The XCT80 uses a modular counterweight system totaling 11.5 tons, with options for various combinations (2.2t, 3.5t, 4.5t). It also includes standard 80-ton, 40-ton, and 7-ton hook blocks to suit different rigging needs.
