Indo Farm Power-16FN

The Indo Farm Power-16FN is a heavy-duty, high-reach pick-and-carry crane designed to handle tough lifting tasks in construction, mining, and infrastructure applications. Built on a robust chassis, it features a 4-part telescopic boom with the first three sections operated hydraulically and the final stage extended via a power-assisted rope system with manual safety pinning. The standard boom offers a maximum vertical height of 19.2 meters and a horizontal reach of 16.6 meters, extendable to 22.2 meters vertically and 19.7 meters horizontally with a 3-meter fly jib.

Rated to lift 16 tons at a 1.5-meter radius, the crane can still manage 0.5 tons at full horizontal extension. It employs a six-fall rope hoisting system with a heavy-duty winch and fail-safe brakes. The self-rope compensation ensures stable and controlled lifting cycles, even with variable boom lengths.

At its core, the Power-16FN uses a 101 HP turbocharged diesel engine operating at 2,200 rpm, delivering strong performance for both lifting and travel. The gearbox is a heavy-duty synchromesh transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears, along with high/low selectors and a 2-speed auxiliary gearbox optimized for crane functions.

Articulated hydraulic steering provides 40° of articulation via twin hydraulic cylinders, enabling a minimum turning radius of just 7 meters. This allows for agile maneuvering in tight job sites or congested industrial areas. The crane is capable of achieving 42 km/h maximum speed with gradeability of 35% unladen.

The braking system comprises fully air-operated dual circuit ‘S’ cam brakes on the front wheels, mechanical disc brakes at the rear, and an air-actuated fail-safe parking brake. The machine rides on four 11.00×20 – 16 PR front tyres and two 14.00×25 – 20 PR rear tyres, offering reliable ground grip and load stability.

The hydraulic system includes a vane-type pump and a 5/6-spool double-acting control valve with integrated pressure relief. Hydraulic fluid capacity is 155 liters, with a 60-liter diesel tank and 45 liters of gear oil. The operating weight is approximately 13,950 kg with standard configuration.

Standard features include an enclosed ergonomic cabin, 3-meter fly jib, air brakes, six-fall winch, side mirrors, reflectors, reverse tuner, and lighting kit. Optional accessories include a man basket, spark arrestor, safe load indicator, AC cabin, fire extinguisher, over-hoist warning system, and camera systems for winch and rear view.
