Product Description
The Kato KR-10H (MR-100) is a compact 10-ton capacity rough terrain crane that delivers precise and powerful lifting capability in confined or urban environments. Designed with the operator’s ease and environmental noise standards in mind, the KR-10H is equipped with a fully hydraulic system and advanced control features, making it highly efficient for modern construction and industrial sites.
This model is driven by a fuel-efficient Nissan W04C-T turbocharged diesel engine with a displacement of 3.839 liters, capable of producing 103 PS at 3,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 35 kg·m at 1,800 rpm. The crane operates with a 4×4 full-time four-wheel drive system, offering excellent maneuverability on rough terrain, with a top speed of 49 km/h and a gradeability of 60% (tan θ = 0.6).
The crane’s boom system consists of a four-section fully telescoping hydraulic boom that extends from 5.15 meters to 22.5 meters. Additionally, an optional 1.8-meter jib can be mounted to achieve a maximum lifting height of 24.2 meters. The main winch provides a line speed of up to 104.0 m/min on the fourth layer, while the hook speed can reach 112 m/min with five-part line reeving.
Slewing is continuous 360° with a swing speed of 2.3 rpm, supported by an oil motor and planetary gear reducer. The boom elevation operates within a -8° to 81° range, taking approximately 30 seconds to elevate fully. Outriggers offer flexible deployment widths, with max extension at 4,500 mm for stable operations.
In terms of construction, the KR-10H features a robust box-type chassis with a total vehicle weight of 6,240 kg. It rides on 11.00-20 16PR tires and is fitted with a dual-circuit full air braking system combined with a transmission output shaft parking brake.
The cab is ergonomically designed for all-weather visibility and comfort, equipped with AM/FM stereo, sunroof, and oil cooler. Safety is enhanced by built-in systems such as automatic moment limiter, emergency engine shutdown, and interlocks for crane movement control.
Altogether, the Kato KR-10H combines agility, strong lifting capacity, and user-friendly control in a compact machine ideal for modern-day construction sites with space and access limitations.
