Product Description
The Kobelco RK100 is a 10-ton rough terrain crane, with the RK100M variant rated at 4.9 tons, often used to comply with specific local transport laws. Both cranes feature a four-section fully powered main boom that extends from 5.1 to 21.2 meters. A jib with a length of 2.8 meters is also available. Maximum lifting height is 24.6 meters with the jib and 22.2 meters with just the boom.
These cranes provide a maximum working radius of 19.8 meters (boom) and 20.2 meters (jib). Boom extension is achieved in 49.5 seconds for the full 16.1-meter stroke. Main and auxiliary winch systems have hoisting/lowering speeds ranging from 165 to 104 m/min (1st layer, 5th winch layer). Boom elevation occurs at 28.5 sec from -8° to 80°, and slewing speed is rated at 2.5 rpm. Rear slewing radius is a compact 1,560 mm.
The superstructure is supported by a three-section hydraulic pump system, with a hydraulic tank capacity of 190 liters. The RK100 uses a 4-cylinder Isuzu 4BD1T diesel engine producing 103 kW (140 PS) at 3,000 rpm with a torque of 333 Nm at 1,900 rpm. The drivetrain features a 2-wheel or selectable 4-wheel drive (4×2/4×4), with a max travel speed of 49 km/h and a gradeability of 0.61 tan (31%).
Compact in design, the RK100 measures 7,030 mm in length, 1,995 mm in width, and 2,760 mm in height, with a total vehicle weight of 11,770 kg. Safety features include reverse warning alarms, engine monitoring systems, and standard ACS (Anti Crane Safety) functions such as automatic drum brake activation, overload prevention, and anti-two block devices.
These cranes are particularly effective in urban or confined construction sites where high lifting power is needed in a compact format. The RK100M variant further supports ease of transport and lower axle loading limits.
