The SANY SRA350A is the most compact and capable crane in the 35-ton rough terrain category, engineered for optimal lifting performance in restricted environments. Ideal for industrial plants, utility work, inner-city projects, and general construction support, the SRA350A delivers class-leading reach and strength in a machine designed to be nimble and easy to operate.

Its main lifting feature is a four-section formed boom extending from 35.4 feet to 114.8 feet (10.8 – 35 meters). This is the longest boom in its class, allowing it to outperform similar-sized cranes in both reach and capacity. A two-piece hydraulically power-assisted jib extends from 30.2 feet to 52.5 feet (9.2 – 16 meters), bringing the maximum tip height to approximately 167 feet (51 meters). The combination supports a wide range of applications, from low-clearance interior work to outdoor elevated placements.

Power comes from a Cummins QSB6.7 Stage V diesel engine, rated at 280 horsepower, delivering excellent torque and fuel efficiency. This engine is paired with a Dana automatic transmission and Meritor axles, forming a proven drivetrain configuration also used in SANY’s higher-capacity models. The machine’s four steering modes (2-wheel, 4-wheel, crab, and rear) ensure excellent maneuverability in tight site layouts.

The main winch offers 15,000 lbs of line pull and supports a maximum rope speed of 436 feet per minute (133 m/min), providing fast yet controlled lifting cycles. An 8,800 lb fixed counterweight balances the crane during extended or off-center lifts without requiring additional transport setups. The machine is easy to maintain with remote-mounted filters, centralized upper/electrical compartments, and daily service points placed at ground level.

Operator comfort and control are standout features of the SRA350A. The cab is the widest in its class, featuring a flat-deck layout with multiple access points, ergonomic joystick controls, and a robust HVAC system. The operator interface is centered around a 10.1″ full-color touchscreen Load Moment Indicator (LMI)—designed for speed, clarity, and minimal menu navigation. Features like the virtual wall with function kick-out, third wrap indicator, fine inching control, and icon-based diagnostics significantly enhance ease of operation and safety.
