Product Description
The Tadano TR-350M-2 rough terrain crane is engineered for reliability and operational flexibility across various site conditions. It features a five-section hexagonal boom ranging from 31.2 ft to 118.4 ft (9.5 m to 36.1 m), extendable hydraulically through a two-stage double-acting hydraulic system and rope-type extension. The crane also supports a jib of either 26.3 ft or 42.7 ft (8.0 m or 13.0 m), contributing to a maximum lifting height of 163.7 ft (49.9 m) with jib, and a working radius up to 122.7 ft (37.4 m).
The lifting capacity spans 35,000 kg (38.6 U.S. tons) at 9.8 ft (3.0 m) radius, with decreasing capacities at extended boom lengths. The auxiliary and main winches are both capable of pulling 126 m/min at the 4th layer, powered by hydraulic motors with automatic brakes and flow regulation.
The carrier is driven by a Mitsubishi 6D22 diesel engine, a 6-cylinder 4-cycle direct-injection type producing 270 HP at 2,200 rpm, with a max torque of 773 lb-ft (107.0 kg·m) at 1,200 rpm. The torque converter is a 3-element, single-stage unit with automatic lock-up. Transmission includes both automatic and manual modes with 3 forward and 1 reverse gear under Hi/Low range. The drivetrain supports both 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive configurations.
Suspension is based on a parallel leaf spring type, and both axles are full-floating with the rear having no-spin differentials. The steering system is fully hydraulic with a reverse correction mechanism, allowing a minimum turning radius of 17.1 ft (5.2 m) in 4-wheel mode. It achieves a top travel speed of 30.4 mph (49 km/h) and can climb slopes up to 60%.
The overall dimensions are 37.4 ft long x 9.0 ft wide x 11.8 ft high (11,400 mm x 2,750 mm x 3,590 mm), with a gross weight of 70,108 lb (31,800 kg) evenly distributed across the front and rear axles. Outriggers can extend to a maximum width of 21.9 ft (6.7 m) and provide a solid base for lifts with up to 35.1 U.S. tons of load on the ground.
Additional features include an automatic moment limiter (AML), over-winding cutout, drum lock, elevation counterbalance valve, swing lock, and a range of operator comfort features such as an air-conditioned cabin, hydraulic oil temperature indicators, and powered mirrors.
