Potain Igo 13

The Potain Igo 13 is a compact and highly adaptable self-erecting tower crane engineered for smaller construction sites and renovation projects where tight spaces and frequent repositioning are common. With a maximum lifting capacity of 1,800 kg, it delivers consistent performance across its 20-meter jib, while still managing 700 kg at the tip—ideal for light to moderate material handling needs. The crane can also be configured for a 10.8-meter radius, lifting up to 1,600 kg at that range.

Its hydraulic erection system enables fast and simplified setup without the need for additional equipment. The crane stands on a 3.6 m x 3.6 m base and offers a maximum under-hook height of 19.6 meters in flat jib mode. With a 20° jib inclination, the hook height increases to 22.2 meters, enhancing flexibility for projects with vertical obstructions or structures.

The Igo 13 uses the 8 LVF 9 Optima hoist drive, which allows a wide hoisting speed range up to 39 m/min, depending on voltage and load. The 1 DVF 4 trolley system provides speeds between 14 and 28 m/min, while the RVF 20 slewing system delivers smooth and efficient rotation up to 1 rpm, supporting precise load positioning.

Its electrical system accommodates 230V single-phase, 400V three-phase, and 480V three-phase power supplies, drawing between 4.6 and 11 kVA. This range allows for operation on a wide variety of job sites across different power grids. The crane also incorporates SmartCom and Top Zone technologies, supporting operator safety and zoning management.

Transportability is a major strength of the Igo 13, with configurations compatible with standard trailers and 40-foot high cube containers. Fully ballasted transport is supported, with total crane weight around 8,520 kg, including six 900 kg and two 1,560 kg counterweights.

Certified to EN 14439 C25-D25, C50-D50, and FEM 1.001-A3, the Potain Igo 13 is a compact and efficient solution tailored for rapid deployment and versatile lifting in confined or frequently changing job sites.
