The GMK5210 is an all-terrain hydraulic crane with a substantial lifting capacity of 210 US tons, making it ideal for heavy-duty tasks in various settings, including construction and industrial projects.

Main Boom and Jib Configurations

This model features a 197-foot (60 meters) six-section, full-power boom. The boom incorporates Grove’s patented “twin-lock” system for securing boom sections, ensuring safety and stability during operations. The crane also includes a lattice swingaway extension that can be hydraulically offset between 5 to 40 degrees, with additional extensions available to reach a total length of up to 125 feet (38 meters).

Engine and Performance

The crane is equipped with a powerful Cummins Signature 600 engine, offering 600 HP at 2000 rpm and a maximum torque of 2,050 ft./lbs. at a range of 1200-1400 rpm. It complies with EUROMOT/EPA/CARB emission standards, ensuring environmentally responsible operations. The crane’s maximum travel speed is 51 mph, and it features a gradeability of 55%, suitable for steep inclines.

Slewing and Lifting Capabilities

The GMK5210 offers a slewing speed of up to 1.7 RPM, provided by three swing gears with axial piston fixed displacement motors. The crane’s maximum lifting speed is 426 ft./min with a line pull capacity of 21,000 lbs., allowing for efficient handling of heavy loads.

Mobility and Chassis Configuration

This model boasts a 10x8x10 drive configuration, ensuring excellent mobility on various terrains. It is designed with a robust chassis that supports the crane’s versatile operations in diverse environments. The suspension system is the Grove-exclusive MEGATRAK suspension, which adjusts both longitudinally and transversely to maintain optimum leveling and stability.
