Product Description

The Tadano AR-2000M-1 is a powerful 200-ton class all-terrain crane designed for high-demand lifting applications. It comes equipped with a 5-section telescopic boom, constructed from high-tensile steel and hydraulically extendable from 13.0 meters to 60.0 meters. The boom is controlled by a double-cylinder and wire rope mechanism that offers both simultaneous and sequential extension options. This crane delivers a maximum lifting capacity of 200,000 kg at 2.5 m radius on a 24-part line.

To extend its operational range, the crane supports a fixed jib (9.8–21.0 m) and a luffing jib (18.0–33.0 m), with additional insert sections to increase reach. When combined, these configurations provide a maximum lifting height of 94.4 meters and a working radius of up to 64.0 meters. The boom angle ranges from -2° to 83°, and full elevation takes approximately 57 seconds.

The crane’s rotation is powered hydraulically and offers 360° continuous swing with a slewing speed of 1.6 rpm. Main and auxiliary winches are driven by hydraulic motors with planetary reducers and automatic brakes. Hoisting speeds reach up to 120 m/min (at 4th layer), while the hook block speed reaches 6.2 m/min with 24-part reeving and 120 m/min with a single-part line. Hook block options include 200-ton (24-part), 150-ton (18-part), 70-ton (9-part), 35-ton (4-part), and 8-ton (1-part) configurations.

The carrier is based on a FAUN RTF220-5 10×6 (10×8 for off-road) platform, powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM442LA 8-cylinder diesel engine generating 503 PS at 2,100 rpm and 206 kg·m torque. It is paired with a fully automatic transmission (5 forward + 1 reverse), torque converter, and hydro-pneumatic suspension. Multiple steering modes, including front, 10-wheel, crab, and rear-axle steering, enable a minimum turning radius of 9.1 meters. Travel speed reaches up to 60 km/h with a gradeability of 0.73.

The crane superstructure operates independently using a Mitsubishi 6D24-TL 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, producing 260 PS at 2,200 rpm and 1030 Nm of torque. The hydraulic system features two axial piston pumps and two gear pumps, supported by a 1,505-liter hydraulic oil reservoir and a 210-liter fuel tank for extended work cycles.

Outriggers are fully hydraulic H-type with a maximum extension width of 8.6 meters, and adjustable stages at 7.6 m, 5.8 m, and 4.6 m. Counterweight options range from 44 tons (standard) to 52.5 tons (maximum), offering strong lifting performance while maintaining transport efficiency.

Safety features include Tadano’s Automatic Moment Limiter (AML), slew range and boom angle limiters, anti-two-block systems, hook safety devices, and a load chart memory. Operator comfort is supported by a large cab with multi-function AML display, air conditioning, ergonomic layout, and integrated cameras for drum monitoring and rear view.

With its powerful lifting capability, extensive reach, and advanced systems, the Tadano AR-2000M-1 is an ideal solution for large infrastructure projects, heavy equipment installation, and plant construction.
