Product Description
The XCMG XCA150U is a highly capable 150 US ton all-terrain crane designed for challenging lifting tasks across diverse job sites. The crane features a six-section telescoping boom that extends from a compact 42.7 feet to a maximum of 203.4 feet. The boom’s pinned design, combined with an oval profile, provides higher lifting capacity and stability, making it one of the most reliable booms in its class. For extended reach, the crane can achieve a maximum lifting height of 303.5 feet, making it suitable for tall structure work. The maximum working radius of 230 feet enhances its versatility in positioning heavy loads.
Powering the XCA150U is a Mercedes-Benz OM471 diesel engine, which delivers 482.8 horsepower and 1,769.9 lb-ft of torque. The engine complies with Stage IV/Tier 4F emission standards, ensuring environmentally friendly operation. Paired with a ZF 12-speed AMT automatic gearbox, the crane offers smooth and efficient driving. It has a top travel speed of 49.7 mph on standard 16.00R25 tires or 43.5 mph on larger 20.5R25 tires. The crane also features a 60% gradeability, providing strong performance on steep or uneven terrain.
The XCA150U’s suspension system is an innovative independent design with heavy-duty, single-transverse arm technology. The system allows each side of the crane to adapt individually to the terrain, improving stability and comfort when driving on rough roads. Automatic leveling and the ability to switch between elastic and rigid suspension modes further enhance stability and load-handling performance. The axles use a combination of mechanical and electric-hydraulic steering, offering five distinct steering modes, including all-axle steering, which achieves a minimum turning diameter of 59.0 feet.
The crane’s hydraulic system is highly efficient, featuring variable displacement pumps for independent control of lifting and slewing functions. This system allows precise and stable operations even at low speeds, with a minimum lifting speed at the drum of 8.2 feet per minute and a minimum slewing speed of 0.1°/s. The energy-saving design ensures smooth starting and stopping, which enhances control during delicate lifts.
Safety and operator comfort are central to the XCA150U’s design. The crane is equipped with a dual-circuit air disk brake system, along with auxiliary braking through an engine retarder and transmission retarder. The operator’s cab is ergonomically designed with a 10.4-inch touchscreen for easy monitoring and control, while a secondary 12.3-inch display in the driver’s cab offers detailed chassis diagnostics. The operator cab can tilt up by 20° for improved visibility during high-angle lifts, and both cabins are equipped with heating and air conditioning for comfort.
Overall, the XCMG XCA150U is engineered to deliver exceptional lifting performance, high mobility, and reliable operation, making it a leading choice for contractors who require a robust all-terrain crane capable of handling demanding projects.
