Liebherr LR 1300.1 SX

The Liebherr LR 1300.1 SX represents the new generation of high-capacity crawler cranes, offering exceptional lifting capabilities and innovative design for demanding construction applications. Introduced to the global market at Bauma Munich 2019, this model is a major upgrade from its predecessor, featuring modernized structures, increased efficiency, and enhanced safety systems. Its growing popularity was confirmed when Liebherr handed over 22 units to Bigge Crane and Rigging Co. during CONEXPO 2020, marking one of the largest single orders for this crane type.

With a maximum lifting capacity of 330 tonnes, the LR 1300.1 SX is engineered for large-scale infrastructure, industrial, and energy sector projects. The crane offers a main boom length up to 98 meters, and when paired with a luffing jib, it can achieve total system lengths of up to 170 meters. The flexibility of its boom and jib combinations makes it suitable for a wide range of lifting geometries and site conditions.

Powered by a Liebherr D946 A7 diesel engine producing 390 kW (523 hp), the crane meets current emission standards and delivers reliable power for both lifting and travel. The undercarriage features a wide crawler track system for superior stability, while transport-optimized dimensions allow for efficient logistics with many components road-permitted without requiring special clearance.

The crane integrates two high-performance main winches, offering strong line pull and drum capacity to support heavy lifts and fast operation. Its self-assembly capability minimizes setup time, and Liebherr’s LICCON2 control system provides intuitive operation, safety features, and remote diagnostics, streamlining both usage and maintenance.
