Sany STC1000E7 100 ton hydraulic truck crane with 68.5m main boom

Key Features & Benefits

The STC1000E7 is designed as a high-performance 100-ton class hydraulic truck crane optimized for both lifting capability and transport efficiency. The crane features a seven-section U-shaped telescopic main boom with a maximum length of 68.5 m. This boom configuration provides an excellent balance between structural strength and reduced self-weight. The maximum lifting moment reaches 3,880.8 kN·m, positioning the crane competitively within the 100-ton category.

With the main boom fully extended, the maximum lifting height reaches 68.5 m. When equipped with the standard 17.5 m jib, lifting height is further increased, and with the optional 27 m jib configuration, the crane can reach up to 95 m. At this height, it can lift approximately 2.6 tonnes, making it suitable for high-elevation lifting such as tower components, steel structures, and industrial installations. The main boom tip capacity is approximately 8.5 tonnes under rated conditions.

The crane is equipped with a new-generation telescoping system designed to improve extension efficiency and reduce energy consumption. The system enhances telescoping efficiency by approximately 50% while reducing energy usage by more than 15%, contributing to faster setup times and improved operational economy.

The maximum single-line speed of the main winch is 135 m/min, ensuring rapid hook travel and efficient lifting cycles. Full boom extension and retraction are completed in approximately 620 seconds and 640 seconds respectively. Boom raising and lowering times are 70 seconds and 90 seconds, while maximum slewing speed reaches 1.6 r/min, enabling precise positioning and smooth rotational control.

The outrigger span measures 8.0 m transversely (5.27 m inner span) and 6.55 m longitudinally, forming a stable H-type support structure during lifting operations. The crane carries a maximum counterweight of 39 tonnes, significantly improving stability at longer radii.

Transport dimensions are optimized for road compliance, with an overall length of 14,960 mm, width of 2,800 mm, and height of 4,000 mm. The total vehicle weight is approximately 50,000 kg. Mounted on a four-axle carrier, the crane offers strong maneuverability with a minimum turning radius of 12 m.

Power is supplied by a Weichai WP12.430E50 engine (China Stage V) or WP12.400E62 engine (China Stage VI). The Stage V engine delivers 316 kW at 1,900 rpm with 2,060 N·m of torque between 1,000–1,400 rpm, while the Stage VI version produces 294 kW at 1,900 rpm and 2,000 N·m within the same torque band. These engines are paired with a 12-speed transmission, ensuring strong acceleration, stable highway travel, and reliable power output under load.

The maximum travel speed is 90 km/h, with maximum gradeability reaching 48%, enabling access to sloped construction sites. Approach and departure angles are rated at no less than 10° and 13° respectively, assisting with terrain clearance.

The hydraulic system adopts an intelligent dual-pump flow distribution design, ensuring smooth proportional control and coordinated multi-function operation. The operator’s cab can tilt up to 20°, is equipped with a modern suspension seat, and integrates a 7-inch multimedia display terminal with navigation, audio system, reversing camera, and customizable application support. A rear balanced suspension system, combined with reinforced front 385 tires and rear 325 tires, enhances load distribution and chassis stability.

Overall, the SANY STC1000E7 combines a 68.5 m seven-section boom, up to 95 m maximum lifting height with jib, 3,880.8 kN·m lifting moment, 39 t counterweight, and strong road performance. It is engineered for contractors who require a versatile 100-ton truck crane with efficient setup, reliable lifting capacity, and excellent mobility across diverse jobsite conditions.
