Product Description
The Tadano TG-500M-4 truck crane is designed for reliable and versatile lifting operations with a maximum capacity of 50 tons. It features a 6-section hydraulically telescoping hexagonal boom that extends from 10.6 to 40.5 meters, providing strong lifting performance across various jobsite conditions. For added reach, the crane includes a 2-stage jib that extends from 8 to 14 meters, allowing it to achieve a maximum lifting height of 59.5 meters with the jib attached.
The crane is powered by a Nissan 8-cylinder direct-injection water-cooled diesel engine producing 265 PS at 2200 rpm, paired with a synchronized mesh gear transmission providing 7 forward and 1 reverse speed. Its robust dual-circuit hydraulic system supports four gear pumps with a total oil tank capacity of 675 liters, ensuring smooth, powerful operations across the boom, swing, hoisting, and outriggers.
Equipped with double-acting hydraulic cylinders, the TG-500M-4 delivers smooth boom elevation with a range from -3° to 80° and fast extension and retraction speeds. The main winch offers line speeds of up to 82 m/min (third layer) and a rope capacity supporting multiple part-line configurations, providing flexibility to handle varying load demands. Swing is achieved via hydraulic motor-driven planetary gear reducer with foot-operated brake, offering 360° continuous rotation and a swing speed of 2.0 rpm.
On the carrier side, the TG-500M-4 is built on a durable Nissan diesel-powered truck chassis featuring front laminated leaf spring suspension and rear equalizer beam with torque rods, providing stable travel performance at speeds up to 65 km/h. The front axle has a reverse Elliot-type steel pipe cross-section, while the rear axle is full floating type, ensuring stability and strength under heavy loads. Braking is handled by a service brake system with duo-servo shoe type and auxiliary exhaust and spring brakes.
Safety systems include an automatic moment limiter (AML), over-winding cutout, swing lock, hydraulic counterbalance valve, and multiple indicators for boom angle, hoist, and block position. The cab is fitted with essential features such as car heater, radio, oil cooler, and comprehensive instrumentation for operator comfort and ease of use.
In summary, the Tadano TG-500M-4 combines power, reach, and dependable technology in a practical truck-mounted package, making it an ideal choice for lifting operations across construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
