Product Description

The Kato SR-300L rough terrain crane offers a solid blend of lifting capability, compact design, and operator convenience, making it ideal for confined construction and industrial sites. It is rated for a maximum lifting capacity of 30 tons at a 3-meter working radius, supported by a four-section box-shaped telescopic boom extending from 9.35 meters to 30.5 meters. For additional height and flexibility, a two-stage fly jib extends from 7.9 to 13.0 meters and can be offset at 5°, 25°, or 45°, allowing a maximum lifting height of 44.8 meters when fully configured.

Equipped with main and auxiliary winches, the crane achieves line speeds of 125 m/min and 116 m/min respectively. The slewing speed is a smooth 2.9 rpm, and the boom’s full extension can be completed in 93 seconds. The SR-300L uses independent winch control with automatic braking and hydraulic motors, ensuring precise and secure load handling.

Its carrier is built with a 4×2/4×4 drive system and powered by a Mitsubishi 6M60-TLE3A diesel engine, delivering 200 kW at 2,600 rpm and 785 Nm of torque at 1,400 rpm. The crane features a full automatic transmission with 4 forward and 1 reverse gear, supported by front and rear planetary drive/steer axles.

The SR-300L has a maximum travel speed of 49 km/h and can tackle grades up to 57%. Its minimum turning radius is 4.9 meters in 4-wheel steer mode, enabling superior maneuverability. Outriggers offer flexible positioning with extension widths ranging from 2.31 meters (fully retracted) to 6.6 meters (fully extended), optimizing stability on site.

The operator’s cab is ergonomically designed and fitted with safety and comfort essentials like air-conditioning, a roof window, and joystick controls. Safety systems include ACS (Automatic Crane Stopper), overhoist prevention, outrigger monitoring, and multiple hydraulic and mechanical safeguards.

With a gross vehicle weight of 26,990 kg and a compact profile of 11.36 meters in length and 2.62 meters in width, the Kato SR-300L combines mobility and muscle in a refined rough terrain package suited to a wide range of lifting environments.
