Komatsu LW100(M)

The Komatsu LW100 / LW100M WING100 is a rough terrain crane designed for compact lifting solutions. The LW100 variant is rated at 10 tons lifting capacity, while the LW100M is rated at 4.9 tons, with configurations catering to domestic transport regulation needs.

The crane is fitted with a 4-section telescopic boom, extending from 4.1 meters to 21.5 meters, supporting a variety of hook blocks. It includes a slide stowable jib (non-hydraulic) offering lengths of 3.6m, 5.3m, or 7.0m, and when combined with the main boom, provides a maximum lifting height of 26.1m (main hook) and 23.0m (auxiliary hook).

The main winch speed reaches up to 117 m/min (5th layer), and the auxiliary winch hits 108 m/min (4th layer). Swing speed is 2.3 rpm, and boom elevation ranges from -13° to 83° in approximately 31 seconds. Rope diameter is 10 mm, with a standard rope length of 120m (main) and 56m (auxiliary).

The carrier is powered by a Komatsu S6D95L diesel engine, producing 110 kW (150 PS) at 3,300 rpm, with maximum torque of 435 Nm at 1,800 rpm. Transmission features 4 forward and 4 reverse speeds, with 2WD/4WD selectability and top speed of 49 km/h.

The 3-axle configuration with 11.00-16PR tires and a short 6.155m overall length makes it ideal for tight spaces. The crane includes hydro-pneumatic suspension, all-wheel power steering, and a minimum turning radius of 7.11m (2-wheel steer) or 5.2m (4-wheel steer). The full vehicle weighs around 12.88 tons (LW100) and 12.86 tons (LW100M).

Safety equipment includes overhoist prevention, load moment limiter, anti-two-block system, and hydraulic pilot-controlled functions. This makes the Komatsu LW100/LW100M highly suitable for urban infrastructure projects, building maintenance, and tight industrial lifting spaces.
