Product Description
The SANY SRA1200A stands as the flagship model in SANY’s rough terrain crane lineup, delivering exceptional lifting performance, operator-centric features, and efficient transportability. Designed for demanding applications such as bridge construction, wind turbine support, and heavy industrial projects, the SRA1200A combines power, precision, and versatility.
At its core, the SRA1200A boasts a six-section, pinning telescopic boom extending from 41 feet to a maximum of 183.7 feet. This U-shaped boom design ensures structural integrity and optimal load distribution. Complementing the main boom is a two-piece lattice jib, hydraulically power-assisted, ranging from 34.4 feet to 59.1 feet, allowing for a maximum tip height of 250 feet.
Powering the SRA1200A is a Cummins QSB6.7 Stage V diesel engine, delivering 280 horsepower at 2,200 rpm and a torque of 950 lb·ft at 1,500 rpm. This engine is paired with a Dana automatic transmission and robust Kessler axles, providing reliable performance and maneuverability. The crane offers four steering modes and can achieve a maximum travel speed of 15 mph, with a gradeability of up to 75%, ensuring adaptability across various terrains.
Operational efficiency is further enhanced by powerful dual winches, each capable of a line pull of 23,900 lbs and a maximum wire rope speed of 476 feet per minute. The crane’s outrigger system spans 24.7 by 24.9 feet, providing a stable base during lifting operations.
The operator’s cab is designed with comfort and functionality in mind, featuring a 20-degree tiltable design, climate control, and an electronic extendable catwalk for easy access. A standout feature is the 10.1-inch full-color touchscreen Load Moment Indicator (LMI), offering intuitive navigation through pictorial interfaces, real-time diagnostics, and critical operational data, reducing the learning curve and enhancing safety.
Transporting the SRA1200A is streamlined, with the fully equipped main unit weighing under 100,000 lbs and an overall height of 12.6 feet. The 29,800 lb counterweight is hydraulically removable, facilitating quick setup and teardown with minimal additional transport requirements.
Safety features are comprehensive, including a flat deck design with multiple access points, a full camera package with night vision, bright LED lighting, tie-offs throughout, a third wrap indicator with function kick-out, a virtual wall with function kick-out, and fine inching adjustment capabilities.
In summary, the SANY SRA1200A combines robust lifting capabilities, advanced operator features, and efficient transportability, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of heavy-duty construction applications.
