Product Description

The Sany SRC700T, launched as an evolution in the company’s rough terrain lineup, stands out with its 70-ton lifting capacity and advanced boom structure tailored for demanding applications. Central to its design is a five-section U-type boom, which extends from 11.6 to 47 meters. This main boom, fabricated using high-tensile strength steel, ensures a balance of reduced self-weight and improved structural performance. When equipped with a two-stage folding lattice jib—available in 9.2-meter and 16-meter segments—the crane can achieve a total lifting height of 64 meters. The jib operates at 0°, 15°, and 30° offset angles, allowing versatile configurations to meet various lifting scenarios.

Powering the SRC700T is the Cummins QSB6.7 Tier 3 engine, delivering 194 kW at 2200 rpm. This engine is paired with a DANA transmission system that offers six forward and six reverse speeds, including high/low range settings. The drive system supports full-time 4×4 mobility, and the crane is equipped with a robust suspension system—rigid at the front and pivot-mounted at the rear with hydraulic lockout—to maintain traction and maneuverability over rugged terrain.

The crane’s chassis supports a maximum travel speed of 35 km/h and offers excellent off-road capabilities with a 75% maximum gradeability, 513 mm minimum ground clearance, and a 12.9-meter minimum turning radius. The braking system is a dual-circuit hydraulic design with brakes applied to all wheels and pressure maintained via an accumulator.

Operational systems include a dual winch configuration with high/low-speed control, enabling rope speeds up to 155 m/min. Both winches feature planetary reducers and 20 mm steel wire ropes—245 meters long for the main and 145 meters for the auxiliary. The boom elevation is managed by a dual-acting hydraulic cylinder with an elevation angle range from -2° to 80°. The slewing mechanism allows 360° continuous rotation with a maximum slewing speed of 2.5 rpm, facilitated by a hydraulic proportional control system and a buffering feature for stable braking.

Stability during operation is achieved with hydraulically controlled H-type outriggers, with full extension dimensions of 7.4m longitudinally by 7.5m transversely. The crane body weighs approximately 44.9 tons and measures 14.1 meters in length, 3.3 meters in width, and 3.76 meters in height. The front and rear axle loads are 24.8 and 20.1 tons respectively.

Safety and control are enhanced by an intelligent LMI (Load Moment Indicator) system, height limiters for both boom and jib, rope over-rolling protection, and real-time sensors for boom angle, length, and hydraulic pressure. The operator’s cab is designed for maximum visibility and comfort, fitted with a 10.4-inch touchscreen monitor, air-suspension seat, multifunction steering wheel, and climate control system.

Overall, the Sany SRC700T offers a powerful, precise, and user-friendly lifting solution, ideally suited for infrastructure, petrochemical, and heavy civil projects that demand strong lifting capacity and agile operation in uneven environments.
