Product Description
The SANY SRC865C rough terrain crane represents the latest generation of lifting equipment, offering a maximum rated lifting capacity of 65 US tons (59 metric tons) at a 3.05-meter radius. Its five-section fully hydraulic boom extends up to 43.5 meters (143 feet), allowing a broad range of lifting applications from confined urban sites to large-scale infrastructure projects. The boom can be fully extended or retracted in 120 and 130 seconds respectively, while luffing ranges from minimum to maximum in just 75 seconds (raising) and 55 seconds (lowering).
At its heart, the SRC865C is powered by a Cummins QSB6.7 Tier 4 Final diesel engine, producing 275 hp (205 kW) at 2,500 rpm and delivering 990 Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm. This high-performance engine, combined with a load-sensing, constant horsepower piston pump and electronically proportional main control valve, ensures smooth, precise, and powerful multifunction operation. The advanced hydraulic system not only improves control but also enhances fuel efficiency, with average consumption rated at approximately 3.6 mpg (65 L/100 km).
Safety and ease of use are central to the SRC865C’s design. The crane is equipped with an advanced load moment indicator system that includes third wrap, length, and angle sensors, as well as lift cylinder pressure sensors. This system provides a real-time display of crane operating parameters and features overload warning, cutout, and programmable height limiting functions, guaranteeing operator awareness and machine safety in every lift.
Supporting heavy-duty work across diverse terrain, the SRC865C offers a maximum gradeability of 75% and a top travel speed of 40 km/h (24.9 mph). Its four-wheel steering capability reduces the turning radius to just 6.7 meters (22 feet), ideal for tight job sites. The crane also provides quick setup with outriggers that extend and retract fully in under 35 seconds and lift or descend completely in under 40 seconds. The outrigger span measures 7,400 mm (24.3 ft) center-to-center when fully deployed.
The main and auxiliary winches achieve a maximum single-line speed of 150 m/min (492 ft/min), enhancing productivity on repetitive lifting tasks. Slewing operations are smooth and steady at speeds up to 2 rpm, supported by a dynamic swing brake system that delivers accurate control and precise inching performance.
Additional key specifications include a minimum ground clearance of 500 mm, approach angle of 23°, and departure angle of 17°, ensuring stable movement on rough and uneven surfaces. The crane’s robust build gives it an overall weight of 44,900 kg (98,988 lb), with a balanced axle load distribution between front and rear axles.
Altogether, the SANY SRC865C combines power, precision, and safety in a well-engineered rough terrain package, providing dependable performance and operator confidence in lifting operations across the construction, energy, and industrial sectors.
