Product Description

The Tadano GR-600N-1 rough terrain crane is engineered for performance and reliability in various lifting scenarios, especially suited for the Japanese market. It features a 6-section hydraulically telescoping boom constructed in an octagonal box design, extending from 10.0 to 44.0 meters. The boom system incorporates synchronized stages (2-3 and 4-6) with three hydraulic cylinders and a two-wire rope telescoping mechanism, ensuring efficient and controlled extension and retraction.

The crane is further equipped with a two-stage full-automatic jib that can be quickly deployed and offers offset angles between 5° and 60°, contributing to a maximum lifting height of up to 58.0 meters when combined with the boom. In addition, a single top sheave allows for efficient handling of light loads. The main winch delivers high-speed line speeds up to 125 m/min (standard) or 190 m/min (high speed), while the auxiliary winch provides similar performance, making it suitable for dual-hook operations.

Swing operations are powered by a hydraulic motor with a planetary gear reducer, providing smooth 360° continuous rotation at 2.1 rpm. The crane’s H-type outriggers offer fully independent operation with multiple extension widths, up to a full span of 7.6 meters for maximum stability. An extensive array of safety features includes an Automatic Moment Limiter (AML), over-winding prevention, area control devices, and telescopic and elevation counterbalance valves.

Under the hood, the GR-600N-1 is powered by a robust Nissan 2A-GE13C 6-cylinder, turbocharged and intercooled diesel engine, producing 272 kW (370 PS) at 2,000 rpm and a peak torque of 1,470 Nm at 1,100 rpm. The drivetrain supports both 2WD and 4WD, and uses a 3-element torque converter with a power shift transmission offering 4 forward and 1 reverse gear with Hi/Lo settings. The crane achieves a top travel speed of 49 km/h and has a minimum turning radius of 6.44 meters (4WS), ensuring excellent maneuverability.

The operator’s cab is designed with comfort and visibility in mind, equipped with a fully adjustable seat, air-conditioning, power windows, and optional television monitoring for boom operations. With a gross vehicle weight of 39,635 kg and sophisticated hydro-pneumatic suspension systems, the GR-600N-1 delivers both heavy-duty lifting capabilities and operator ease, making it an outstanding choice for rough terrain applications.
