Product Description
The HDTC55 telescopic crawler crane from Hunan Holdings Heavy Industry is a robust 55-ton capacity crane tailored for operations in terrain where conventional wheeled cranes underperform. Engineered with a wide-track undercarriage and low ground pressure of only 0.07 MPa, it is ideal for sites with unstable or soft ground, such as wetlands, oil fields, and large construction zones.
The crane delivers a maximum lifting moment of 2,035 kN·m at the base boom and 1,064 kN·m at full extension. Its four-section telescopic main boom extends from 11.44 to 43.00 meters, with an optional configuration down to 36.5 meters. The auxiliary jib spans 7.4 to 11.3 meters, extending the crane’s total lifting height to 55 meters. Boom luffing ranges from -3° to 78°, and it provides 360° continuous slewing.
It features fast lifting operations with a main winch speed of 130 m/min and auxiliary winch speed of 120 m/min. Telescoping operations for boom extension or retraction take 115 seconds, while boom raising and lowering are completed in 72 and 65 seconds, respectively. Slewing speed reaches up to 1.4 rpm, providing smooth rotational control during lifting.
The HDTC55 is powered by either a Cummins QSB6.7-C215 engine rated at 158 kW @ 2000 rpm (963 Nm @ 1300 rpm) or an optional Weichai WP7.210 engine delivering 155 kW @ 2300 rpm (800 Nm @ 1300 rpm). The powertrain uses A6VE107 hydraulic travel motors and JX80-185 final drives, delivering a maximum travel speed of 2.5 km/h and a climbing ability of 25°.
Its crawler structure uses 760 mm wide tracks, providing both narrow (2,540 mm) and wide (4,200 mm) gauge configurations. The undercarriage wheelbase measures 5,300 mm, and minimum ground clearance is 400 mm, enhancing off-road capability.
Hydraulics are configured for high-performance with a working pressure of 25 MPa, flow of 280 L/min, and a 680-liter oil reservoir, ensuring continuous operation and stable hydraulic output during heavy-duty work. The crane’s fuel tank has a 400-liter capacity.
The total operating weight is 57,310 kg, including 15,000 kg of counterweights. The crane’s transport dimensions without the auxiliary winch are 12.7 m (L) x 3.3 m (W) x 3.06 m (H), and with winch it extends to 13.3 meters in length.
The operator’s cab is built for one person and provides visibility and ergonomic controls tailored for precision work. Its control system integrates safety features and boom load indicators to prevent overloading and optimize stability during lifting.
The HDTC55 is well-suited for a wide range of lifting tasks, including construction, industrial lifting, pipeline handling, equipment installation, and general heavy-duty lifting in remote or off-road locations. Its combination of high lifting capacity, extended boom reach, and terrain adaptability makes it one of the most versatile machines in its class.
