Potain Igo T 85

The Potain Igo T 85 is a highly adaptable self-erecting tower crane designed to offer versatility, performance, and ease of transport. This telescopic crane offers a maximum load capacity of 6 tonnes and can reach a jib tip capacity of 1.25 tonnes at a maximum horizontal outreach of 45 meters. Designed for quick assembly and mobility, the crane has three adjustable hook heights—42, 45, and 48 meters—via its telescoping mast sections. The working jib length is adjustable as well, allowing configurations of 33.8m, 40m, and 45m, and the maximum under hook height in luffed jib position can reach up to 51 meters.

This crane features Potain’s innovative mechanisms, including the 20 LVF 15 Optima hoisting winch, capable of reaching speeds up to 65 m/min with a 15 kW motor. It includes the RVF 51 slewing mechanism and the 5 DVF 5 trolleying mechanism, all built with frequency-controlled technology for smoother, more energy-efficient operation. It uses a 400V/50Hz or 480V/60Hz three-phase power system and requires a 31 kVA supply for operation.

The Igo T 85 is engineered for convenient logistics and reduced jobsite footprint. The crane folds into a compact transport dimension with an overall length of 15.65 meters, making it easily towable. Various undercarriage and axle configurations are available to suit different regional transport regulations. It stands on a 4.5 x 4.5-meter footprint and offers a straightforward telescoping tower design for rapid erection and dismantling on constrained sites.

It is also configurable in raised jib positions up to 30°, offering enhanced height and reach capabilities. Load charts show flexible load-handling performance depending on jib length and hook height configurations, optimizing the crane for various mid-rise construction applications like residential and commercial buildings.
