Product Description
The Liebherr LTM 1080/1 is an 80-ton class all-terrain crane designed to blend strength, precision, and flexibility in a compact footprint. The crane’s lifting capability is centered on its six-section telescopic boom, which extends from 10.8 meters to 48 meters, providing excellent vertical reach and operational flexibility. For additional height and outreach, the biparted swing-away jib extends the total system up to 67 meters, and it can be offset at 0°, 20°, or 40°, catering to a wide range of lifting angles and clearances.
Powered by a Liebherr D 9406 TI-E turbocharged diesel engine, this crane produces 320 kW (435 hp) and meets EURO II emissions standards. It is coupled with an advanced transmission system supporting optional 8×8 drive configurations, enhancing traction and mobility across various terrains. The all-wheel steering system allows for a tight turning radius of 8.6 meters, and the crane’s overall length of just 12.57 meters makes it exceptionally maneuverable for city and confined-area operations.
The LTM 1080/1 incorporates Liebherr’s Telematik boom system, allowing rapid and controlled extension and retraction of the boom sections. The LICCON crane control system offers advanced operational control and safety, including overload protection, wind monitoring, and customizable load chart settings. The cab is ergonomically designed and tiltable by 20°, ensuring optimal operator comfort and visibility during elevated lifts.
Stability and safety are fundamental in the LTM 1080/1’s design. The crane features hydraulic outriggers with a variable base, deployable from the cab, and integrated supporting pads for quick setup. The hydraulic suspension system ensures stability during travel and lifting, even on uneven ground.
Technologically, the crane is equipped with CAN data bus and Liebherr System Bus architecture, which integrates all electronic systems for efficient monitoring, streamlined wiring, and enhanced fault diagnostics. This digital integration not only boosts reliability but also simplifies maintenance, making the crane a cost-effective solution for long-term operations.
In conclusion, the Liebherr LTM 1080/1 is engineered for contractors seeking a high-capacity crane with maximum mobility, operational precision, and cutting-edge control systems. It performs exceptionally in both urban infrastructure projects and large industrial applications where space and versatility are key.
