Product Description

The SCM 80 T-TT all terrain crane, manufactured by S.C.M., offers a maximum lifting capacity of 80,000 kg and is engineered for flexible operation in urban, industrial, and infrastructure settings. Its frame is constructed from high tensile tubular and beam-type steel, designed for torsional resistance and load durability. The vehicle includes four driving axles (three motorized) and one idle axle, with full hydraulic steering across all four steering axles, allowing agile maneuvering on tight or uneven ground.

The chassis features independent hydropneumatic suspension and four hydraulically operated outriggers, ensuring stable and level operation across varied job site conditions. The machine uses tubeless 14.00R24 tires on 8 wheels, and in transport mode it weighs 52,000 kg, increasing to 56,000 kg in full working configuration.

Propulsion is provided by a FIAT-IVECO Cursor 10 diesel engine, delivering 316 kW of power. This is mated to a ZF 16-speed gearbox (with two reverse gears) and steel-frame transfer case, allowing road speeds up to 65 km/h, reducible to 40 km/h when needed. Braking systems include three independent service circuits, parking brakes, and motor brake with ABS, ensuring safe descent and control even on slopes.

The crane’s superstructure features a 360° slewing turret, driven by hydraulic motors on roller bearings. The crane cab offers full visibility, roof vent, and all crane operation controls. Superstructure power is supplied by a dedicated IVECO NEF 6.7 engine, rated at 129 kW.

The main winch uses a two-speed hydraulic system with speeds of 100 m/min in high and 60 m/min in reduced mode, driven by an axial piston motor. It operates a high-tensile 80-ton hook block, with a secondary hook and winch available upon request.

The main boom is a telescopic unit made from high-strength steel, consisting of five elements (one base and four telescoping sections), extending up to 42 meters. Optional lattice jib sections ranging from 10 to 20 meters can be installed to increase the working height to approximately 60 meters.

The crane employs composite counterweight blocks, which can be easily assembled or removed hydraulically. The safety system includes load limiters, pressure relief valves, angle indicators, pipe burst protection, and an electronic load monitoring system.

With its rugged construction, dual-engine setup, and telescoping boom system, the SCM 80 T-TT is purpose-built for high-reach and heavy-lift operations in demanding environments, while maintaining road mobility and setup efficiency. It serves as a versatile mid-range all terrain solution suitable for both urban construction and remote project sites.
