Tadano ATF40G-2

The Tadano ATF 40G-2 is one of Tadano’s smallest capacity all-terrain cranes, introduced at Bauma 2007 as a modernized replacement for the ATF 30-2 (35-ton class). This upgrade brought improvements in boom length, lifting performance, and operational efficiency, making it a highly capable crane for construction, industrial lifting, and urban infrastructure projects.

The crane features a five-section telescopic boom, extending up to 35.2 meters (115.5 feet), offering a longer reach compared to its predecessor. Additionally, it includes a 9-meter (29.5-foot) jib, increasing its maximum working height and lifting flexibility. The boom system is designed for rapid extension, utilizing a single-cylinder mechanism with rope support, allowing for quick and smooth deployment while maintaining structural strength and stability.

To further enhance operational efficiency and control, the ATF 40G-2 is equipped with hydraulic pilot control, ensuring precise and responsive handling during lifting operations. Tadano’s AML (Automatic Moment Limiter) system is included as standard, providing real-time load monitoring and automatic safety features, preventing overloading and optimizing stability.
