Product Description
The XCMG XCA450 is a versatile 450-ton all-terrain crane engineered for demanding lifting tasks in construction, wind energy maintenance, and industrial applications. This crane features a six-section main boom with a maximum length of 80 meters, allowing it to reach significant heights and handle complex lifts. It is equipped with a fixed jib that can be extended between 6 to 42 meters and a tower jib that ranges from 12 to 84 meters, providing exceptional flexibility for various lifting scenarios and high-altitude operations.
Designed with superior lifting performance, the XCA450 can handle loads of up to 44 tons with a working radius of 16 meters when using the superlift device and an 80-meter boom. Additionally, it can manage 42 tons using a configuration of 69.9 meters + fixed jibs (6m + 6m + 12m), making it suitable for intricate and heavy-duty tasks. The crane also supports maintenance for 1.5 MW wind turbines, featuring fewer components for ease of transport, quick assembly, and cost-effective operation. With fixed-length tensioning technology, the crane’s superlift system enhances performance by 5-8%, ensuring reliable and efficient lifting.
The XCA450 excels in site transfer and travel capabilities. The crane can move in long-distance transfers with its rear outriggers and seven-section boom retracted, supporting travel loads of up to 84 tons. For shorter distances, it can handle configurations carrying up to 141 tons, including superlift attachments, counterweights, outriggers, and spare tires, improving efficiency and reducing the need for disassembly. The crane features a robust six-axle chassis with a minimal turning diameter of 24 meters and a ground clearance of 280 mm, providing excellent maneuverability even on confined job sites. It can achieve a maximum travel speed of 76 km/h and has a maximum gradeability of 42%, ensuring stable performance across various terrains.
Powering the XCA450 is the OM502LA.E3B/2 chassis engine, delivering a rated output of 442.6 kW at 1800 rpm and a maximum torque of 2800 Nm at 1300 rpm. This engine configuration offers strong, reliable power, enabling the crane to perform effectively across different driving and operational conditions. The crane’s chassis is designed for stability and safety, with an approach angle of 16° and a departure angle of 17°, which helps navigate uneven or sloped terrain. It also maintains fuel efficiency, consuming approximately 105 liters per 100 km under typical driving conditions.
The crane incorporates numerous intelligent features and systems to enhance operational safety and efficiency. It utilizes an XCMG man-machine interactive system with integrated CANBus panels, providing a more comfortable and intuitive operating experience. Additionally, the crane is equipped with an FM radio remote control device with a color display, allowing operators to manage all lifting movements remotely, improving control and safety. The crane’s advanced automation includes features such as automatic rope ordering and winch rope servo control, ensuring smooth and orderly operation.
Constructed with aluminum alloy parts, the XCA450 is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and durable. The chassis control panel is waterproof, and the wire harness is enclosed, enhancing reliability and durability in various environmental conditions. These design elements make the crane robust and long-lasting, capable of enduring the rigors of heavy-duty operations.
In summary, the XCMG XCA450 stands out as a highly adaptable and powerful all-terrain crane. Its combination of extensive reach, flexible configurations, intelligent controls, and superior mobility makes it a reliable choice for large-scale lifting tasks, especially those involving high-altitude requirements like wind energy maintenance. Its well-rounded design and engineering ensure excellent performance, safety, and efficiency on the job site.
