Fuwa QUY500

The Fuwa QUY500 crawler crane is engineered for super-heavy lifting, with a rated maximum capacity of 500 tonnes at an 8-meter radius when configured with a superlift. This crane supports various configurations to suit different lifting scenarios, providing a main boom length of 24 to 84 meters. With the addition of a luffing jib, the reach extends from 36 to 168 meters, making it suitable for demanding projects in construction, oil and gas, and infrastructure development.

Equipped with a Cummins QSM11 engine that delivers 336 kW at 2100 rpm, the QUY500 provides powerful performance for its extensive hydraulic system. The crane features high-speed winches with hoisting speeds of up to 130 m/min, while the derricking system operates at speeds up to 50 m/min, enabling swift adjustments and efficient operation. The superlift system enhances stability and lifting capacity, with counterweights ranging from 50 to 250 tonnes and a swing radius of up to 16.5 meters.

The QUY500 offers versatile boom configurations, including heavy and light main booms and various jib options. In its superlift configuration, it can achieve a maximum rated lifting capacity of 500 tonnes with a boom and counterweight setup that provides extra stability. For extended reach, the luffing jib combined with the superlift mast offers a rated capacity of 228 tonnes at a 16-meter radius. This flexibility in setup makes it an optimal choice for projects requiring high lifting heights and diverse load handling.

The crane is equipped with advanced safety features, including hook and boom over-hoist prevention, a moment limiter for load monitoring, and automatic braking systems on all major winches. A three-color load indicator and angle sensors provide real-time feedback on load conditions and boom positioning. The crane’s ground bearing pressure of 0.14 MPa ensures stability on various terrain types, while a gradeability of 30% allows it to traverse slopes and uneven ground with ease.

The undercarriage is robust, featuring retractable track frames and 1200 mm wide track shoes for enhanced traction and stability. The crane also includes a spacious, climate-controlled cab designed for operator comfort, equipped with a digital display for system diagnostics and real-time monitoring. The crane’s overall dimensions of 14,790 mm (L) x 9,300 mm (W) x 5,400 mm (H) facilitate efficient transport and assembly on-site.

The QUY500 supports a wide range of hook blocks from 15 to 500 tonnes, allowing for a variety of lifting tasks.
