Kobelco CKS1350

The Kobelco CKS1350 is a versatile and powerful crawler crane engineered to handle challenging lifting tasks with precision and efficiency. With a maximum lifting capacity of 135 tons and a standard boom length that can be extended up to 76.2 meters, this machine offers excellent reach and capacity. The crane supports various boom and jib configurations, including a fixed jib combination that provides a lifting capacity of up to 26.8 tons with a maximum combination length of 61.0 meters plus 30.5 meters.

In long boom configurations, the CKS1350 can reach up to 82.3 meters and deliver a lifting capacity of 44.3 tons with an 10.6-meter boom section. For applications requiring a luffing jib, the crane offers a maximum lifting capacity of 44.8 tons with a jib length up to 53.3 meters, resulting in a total boom and jib combination length of 79.9 meters.

The crane is powered by a HINO P11C-VH diesel engine delivering 271 kW at 1,850 rpm, supported by a 400-liter fuel tank, ensuring reliable performance across extended operations. The hydraulic system features three variable displacement piston pumps with a maximum system pressure of 31.9 MPa and a 535-liter hydraulic tank capacity. The swing system is driven by hydraulic motors through planetary reducers, providing smooth 360° rotation with a swing speed of 2.1 min⁻¹.

For hoisting operations, the crane uses wet-type multiple-disc brakes for safety and control. The main and auxiliary winches have a maximum line speed of 120 m/min and a rated line pull of 132 kN (13.5 tf), supporting wire ropes with a diameter of 26 mm and lengths up to 275 meters (main) and 255 meters (auxiliary).

The upper structure of the crane is precision machined to reduce noise and vibration, and houses a comfortable, fully enclosed cab fitted with safety glass, ergonomic seating, air conditioning, and a comprehensive set of operational controls and displays.

The lower structure features steel-welded carbody with axles, providing strong stability and efficient transport configuration. Crawler assemblies can be hydraulically extended for wide-track operation or retracted for transport. The shoe width of each crawler track is 910 mm, and the crane can achieve a maximum gradeability of 30%.

To ensure safe and reliable operation, the CKS1350 incorporates advanced safety devices, including a rated capacity indicator, anti-two block system, drum locks, and hydraulic fail-safe brakes.
