Product Description
The XCMG QUY250 crawler crane is a powerful and sophisticated lifting machine built for heavy-duty construction and industrial applications. Engineered with modular design principles, it offers ease in assembly and disassembly while maintaining optimal performance. The crane is equipped with a high-performance QSL9-C325 diesel engine that produces 242 kW at 2100 rpm and meets the Stage III emission standards of the European Construction Machinery Directive. The intelligent control system is fully integrated with PLC, ensuring operational safety, reliability, and ease of diagnostics.
The crane’s hydraulic system combines close/open circuit loops with load-sensing axial piston pumps. It manages multiple crane functions including winches, boom, luffing gear, slewing, and auxiliary systems. The main and auxiliary winches are independently driven and adopt planetary reducers and disc brakes for smooth control and durability. The lifting gear features dual independent drives, each with auxiliary winches for complex luffing operations, and the slewing mechanism uses a planetary gearbox combined with a slew ring mounted on a three-roller track for smooth and secure 360° rotation.
For lifting operations, the QUY250 includes a six-section main boom with telescoping functionality. It supports various extensions and jibs, including fixed and tower jibs, which can be adjusted for boom lengths up to 85.7 meters. The mast and gantry are designed with box-type structures and feature hydraulic folding systems for compact transport. Hook blocks include 250 t, 150 t, 80 t, and 35 t capacities to match a variety of jobsite requirements.
Safety is paramount, with a full suite of devices including a load moment limiter, over-wind and over-release protection for the winch, anti-two block device, and tricolor warning lamps to indicate operating load zones. The crane also integrates a video monitoring system, anemometers, emergency switches, and illumination for night work.
The operator’s cab is ergonomically designed with panoramic visibility, air conditioning, vibration-reduction seats, and a touchscreen display. For ground mobility, the QUY250 uses a crawler-type undercarriage with planetary reduction gear drive and hydrostatic motors from Germany, providing smooth and controlled movement over rugged terrain. Its design prioritizes safety, adaptability, and reliability in demanding environments.
