Product Description
Launched as a fully hydraulic truck crane, the Kato NK300E-V offers an optimal blend of lifting capability, compact design, and transport efficiency. At the heart of its lifting performance is a robust 4-section box-type telescopic boom that extends from 10.5 meters to 33.0 meters. The crane is further equipped with a two-section fly jib that provides additional lifting reach from 8.7 meters to 14.5 meters, allowing a maximum lifting height of up to 47.5 meters when fully configured.
The NK300E-V’s lifting performance is impressive across its boom range. It lifts 30,000 kg at a 3.0 m radius with the 10.5 m boom, and 7,000 kg at an 8.0 m radius on its full 33.0 m boom. For greater flexibility, the jib can be offset at 5°, 17°, and 30°, supporting loads up to 3,000 kg on the 8.7 m jib and 2,000 kg on the 14.5 m jib. It also includes a rooster sheave rated at 3,000 kg.
The main and auxiliary winches are driven by axial plunger motors with independent controls, offering a main hoisting line speed of 110 m/min at the fourth layer. The slewing system is ball bearing-based, delivering a slewing speed of 2.6 rpm with a tail swing radius of 3,395 mm.
Mounted on a FAW CA5320JQZ carrier, the NK300E-V uses a 6×4 drive system powered by a CA6DL1-28 Euro II diesel engine, producing 206 kW at 2,300 rpm and torque of 1,100 Nm at 1,600 rpm. The transmission is a manual 8-speed with a single dry-plate clutch and air booster. This setup enables a maximum road speed of 70 km/h and a gradeability of 29%. The crane chassis features front leaf spring suspension with shock absorbers and rear equalizer beams with torque rods and a lockout system for stability.
Hydraulic outriggers extend to 6.1 m fully or 4.1 m in intermediate configuration, and the hydraulic system comprises a 4-section gear-type oil pump with a 420 L reservoir. Key safety and operational features include an automatic crane stopper with voice alarm, overhoist prevention, drum locks, winch automatic brakes, and an outrigger lock system.
