Product Description
The Nippon Grove TMS 2000 is a 20-ton class hydraulic truck-mounted crane built to provide dependable lifting performance in mid-size construction and utility applications. The crane’s main boom extends from 10.1 meters to 26.0 meters using a 3-section, fully synchronized hydraulic extension system. The jib, available in 7.4-meter and 12-meter lengths, can be attached for greater reach and is mounted with a 5° offset. When fully configured, the crane achieves a maximum lifting height of 38.0 meters (26.0-meter boom + 12.0-meter jib).
Its rated lifting capacities include 20.0 tons at 3.0 meters with the 10.1-meter boom, 12.1 tons at 4.5 meters with the 18.1-meter boom, and 7.5 tons at 6.5 meters with the 26.0-meter boom. With the jib installed, the crane can handle 3.5 tons at 9.2 meters (7.4-meter jib) and 2.0 tons at 9.3 meters (12.0-meter jib). The boom elevates from -3° to 80° in about 60 seconds, and extends at a speed of 15.9 meters in 70 seconds.
Hoisting performance is strong for a crane in its class, with both main and auxiliary winches achieving rope speeds up to 87 meters per minute. Slewing is powered by a radial piston hydraulic motor and operates at 3.0 rpm for full 360° rotation. The TMS 2000 is mounted on either the Nissan KW 30M or ZT 300 chassis and has a total vehicle weight of approximately 21,980 kg. The outrigger system spans 5.2 meters and uses a hydraulic lock for stability during lifting.
Control systems include a variety of safety devices such as an electronic moment limiter, overload prevention, boom elevation and extension limiters, holding valves, and winch drum locks. The boom hoist uses a direct-acting hydraulic cylinder with a lock valve, and the winch system incorporates a band brake and automatic drum brake for smooth load handling. The slewing mechanism also includes a reduction gear and internal disk brake for smooth operation.
Overall, the TMS 2000 is a compact and capable crane with well-balanced reach, speed, and safety systems. Its simple, reliable hydraulic layout and efficient transport profile make it suitable for contractors requiring a nimble yet powerful truck crane for daily lifting operations.
