Product Description
The Sany QY20C truck crane is engineered to deliver consistent lifting performance in a mid-range capacity category. With a maximum rated lifting capacity of 20 tons and a minimum working radius of 3 meters, this crane suits a broad spectrum of lifting applications in urban and field environments. The crane is mounted on a 6×4 drive chassis and powered by a Shanghai Diesel SC8DK230Q3 engine, which complies with China’s National III emission standards and provides robust driving and operational support.
The main boom consists of four hexagonal cross-section sections, made from HG785 and HG70 high-strength steel, and extends up to 32.55 meters. An optional 8-meter jib allows the crane to achieve a total lifting height of up to 40.55 meters. With a fixed 2-ton counterweight bolted to the slewing platform, the crane maintains stability throughout its lifting range.
The lifting system includes main and auxiliary winches, both powered by fixed-displacement hydraulic motors driving planetary gear reducers. The main winch delivers speeds of up to 110 m/min, while the auxiliary winch can reach 120 m/min, each with a line pull of 34.5 kN using 14 mm steel wire ropes. The winch drums come with spring-applied, hydraulically released brakes for secure holding during operation.
The slewing mechanism operates at a maximum speed of 2.5 rpm, supported by a hydraulic motor and swing reducer. A dedicated buffer valve and one-way throttle valve equipped with an accumulator ensure smooth and safe starts and stops during rotation.
The QY20C’s operator cabin is ergonomically designed with wide-arc front windows to minimize blind spots, a large touchscreen display for real-time operational data, and integrated fault diagnostics. The crane employs Sany’s proprietary SYML load moment limiter, which provides detailed feedback on lifting percentage, boom angle, hook load, and more, with clear graphical alerts and black-box capabilities.
Mounted on a custom Sany chassis, the QY20C uses a Fast 6-speed manual transmission, and features a maximum travel speed of 72 km/h and a gradeability of 30%, making it highly mobile across job sites. The suspension system combines leaf springs with dual-action shock absorbers in the front and a balance beam structure in the rear.
Stability during lifting is ensured by H-type hydraulically operated outriggers, offering a footprint of 5.15 meters longitudinally and 6.0 meters transversely. The overall design emphasizes efficient hydraulic control, robust steel construction, and high-speed operation, providing the operator with reliable and safe lifting capabilities.
With a focus on maneuverability, lift performance, and safety, the Sany QY20C serves as a well-rounded solution for small to mid-scale lifting tasks across a variety of industrial and construction sectors.
