Key Features & Benefits
The Tadano TG1200M-2 truck crane delivers impressive lifting power and operational flexibility for large-scale projects. Built to handle loads up to 120 tons, the crane features a 6-section telescopic boom constructed with a box-type design, ranging in length from 12 to 50 meters. An additional jib, composed of two integrated swing-around sections, extends operational flexibility by offering lengths between 9 and 19.5 meters, enhancing the crane’s maximum working radius.
A fully hydraulic boom elevation system, equipped with a double-acting hydraulic cylinder and single-wire rope telescoping device, ensures smooth and rapid boom extension and retraction. Main and auxiliary winches provide efficient hoisting performance, with maximum line speeds reaching 115 meters per minute and rated single line pull strengths of 12 tons on the main winch and 7.5 tons on the auxiliary winch, ensuring reliable lifting across varying load demands.
The swing system utilizes a hydraulic motor driven planetary gear reducer with a foot actuated disc swing brake and spring-actuated holding brake. Operators can expect precise and steady slewing control, with a maximum swing speed of 1.6 rpm. Four fully hydraulic outriggers extend to a width of 6.2 meters, with sliding jacks that operate independently, providing solid stability during heavy lifts.
Mounted on a robust Mitsubishi truck carrier, the TG1200M-2 combines power and mobility, featuring a Mitsubishi 8DC9 V8 diesel engine that generates 380 PS at 2,200 rpm. This engine is mated to a 10-speed synchronized mesh transmission, ensuring smooth power delivery across variable terrains. The carrier employs torque rod-type suspension at the front and an equalizer beam with torque rod at the rear, paired with recirculating ball screw steering and hydraulic booster assist for precise control.
Safety and reliability are integral to the TG1200M-2’s design, with features including an automatic moment limiter (AML), over-wind cutout device, working area control system, and boom angle indicator. The crane also comes equipped with an auxiliary brake and exhaust brake, with power operated full air brake systems on all wheels for secure stopping.
Combining strength, advanced hydraulics, a comfortable operator environment, and excellent road performance, the Tadano TG1200M-2 stands as a dependable solution for complex lifting challenges in industrial, infrastructure, and heavy construction environments.
