Kato KR-25H-V6 (SR-250VR)

The Kato KR-25H-V6 rough terrain crane is designed to provide reliable lifting performance and maneuverability in tight and uneven job sites. This 26-ton capacity machine features a four-section box-type boom that extends from 9.5 meters to 30.5 meters. The crane also includes a two-stage jib measuring 7.9 meters to 13 meters, allowing a maximum lifting height of 44.8 meters when combined with the boom.

With a maximum rated lifting capacity of 26 tons at a 3.3-meter radius (using 7-part reeving), the KR-25H-V6 achieves robust capacity across its boom range. It can lift 18 tons at a 4.5-meter radius with a 16.5-meter boom (6-part reeving) and 12.5 tons at a 5.0-meter radius with a 23.5-meter boom (4-part reeving). At the maximum boom length of 30.5 meters, it lifts up to 7 tons at an 8-meter radius.

The crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D16-TLE2B intercooled turbocharged diesel engine producing 165 kW (225 hp) at 2,700 rpm and maximum torque of 700 Nm at 1,300 rpm. It offers full-time 4-wheel drive, 4-wheel steer capability, a maximum travel speed of 49 km/h, and a gradeability of 60%. Its minimum turning radius is 8.2 meters with 2-wheel steer and 4.9 meters with 4-wheel steer, allowing excellent maneuverability on narrow or congested sites.

Hydraulic systems include dual single winches with automatic brakes, planetary gear reduction drives, and pressure-compensated flow control valves. The main winch achieves hoisting speeds of 118 m/min (fourth layer). The crane swings at 3.0 rpm with precise, ball-bearing-supported rotation.

Safety and operational features include the ACS (automatic crane stopper) load moment limiter, over-hoist prevention devices, anti-two-block system, automatic brake systems, hydraulic safety valves, swing lock devices, outrigger width detection systems, and numerous alarms such as hydraulic oil overheat, filter clogging, and engine coolant level warnings. The crane also includes ergonomic operator features such as air-conditioned cab with heated side mirrors, multi-adjustable suspension seat, power windows, storage compartments, and electronic monitoring instruments.

The KR-25H-V6 combines strength, speed, and advanced safety features in a compact package, making it well suited for infrastructure, urban construction, plant maintenance, and general lifting operations where precision and reliable performance are crucial.
