Product Description
The SANY SRA750A is a high-performance 75 US ton (68 metric ton) rough terrain crane designed to deliver superior lifting capability, off-road mobility, and operator-focused features for American construction and industrial markets. Built with strength, durability, and modern control systems, it serves as a versatile solution for infrastructure, oil & gas, plant maintenance, and heavy lifting applications.
The crane’s lifting structure consists of a five-section U-shaped full-power boom that extends from 37.1 ft (11.3 m) to 142.7 ft (43.5 m). An optional bi-fold fly jib adds 32.8 ft (10 m) to 55.8 ft (17 m), bringing the maximum tip height to 206.6 ft (63 m). The boom operates through dual telescoping cylinders and pulleys for synchronized movement, offering smooth, efficient reach with solid lifting performance throughout the range.
Power is provided by a Cummins QSB6.7 Stage V engine rated at 284 hp at 2200 rpm, delivering 950 lb·ft (1288 Nm) of torque at 1500 rpm. This engine is paired with a Dana 6-speed automatic transmission offering both forward and reverse gears, supporting a maximum travel speed of 15 mph (24 km/h) and gradeability up to 75%. The hydraulic system is built on a load-sensing platform with electronically controlled variable displacement pumps for precise operation.
The crane operates on two Kessler axles—both steerable and driven. The rear axle features oscillating hydraulic suspension with lockout, while the front is rigidly mounted. This configuration provides four steering modes: 2-wheel front, 4-wheel, crab, and rear-wheel steering, making it maneuverable in tight and complex jobsite layouts. The tires are 29.5-25 high-flotation for effective off-road traction.
The crane’s main winch offers a line speed of 492 ft/min (150 m/min) and a single-line pull of 15,500 lb (7030 kg) using ¾” (19 mm) anti-rotation wire rope. The auxiliary winch matches the main winch in performance, supporting heavy-duty multi-hook configurations for dual lifting or synchronized operations.
Stability is achieved through four H-type outriggers with real-time position sensors and integrated load management displayed on the crane’s 10.1-inch touchscreen Load Moment Indicator (LMI). Outriggers span 24.6 x 24.3 ft (7.5 x 7.4 m) and are hydraulically deployed with programmable pressure staging for safety.
The operator’s cab is built for comfort and efficiency, with a fully tiltable, climate-controlled interior offering expansive visibility via wide windows and built-in camera systems. The LMI system offers visual, icon-based navigation, real-time diagnostics, boom configuration display, virtual wall assistance, and outrigger management. Controls are electro-proportional with smart feedback and are laid out for intuitive operation, including an ergonomic steering wheel and side console modules.
For transportation, the SRA750A maintains a gross weight under 100,000 lbs (45,280 kg) and a transport height under 12.5 ft (3.81 m), making it road legal in most states without special permits. It can be shipped with or without counterweights, hook blocks, and jib to adapt to route restrictions.
In short, the SANY SRA750A blends exceptional boom length, terrain handling, and operator-centric control systems with powerful drivetrain components, making it a formidable and reliable tool in the rough terrain crane category.
