The SANY SRC885C rough terrain crane is built for heavy lifting and challenging site conditions, offering a maximum rated capacity of 85 US tons (77 metric tons) at a 3.05-meter radius. Its five-section fully hydraulic boom extends from retracted length up to 47 meters (154 feet), and with an optional 16-meter (52-foot) jib, the crane reaches a total lifting height of over 63 meters. The boom can be fully extended in 125 seconds and retracted in 160 seconds, while luffing from 20° to 60° takes just 65 seconds.

Equipped with a Cummins QSL6.7 Tier 4 Final diesel engine producing 275 hp (205 kW) at 2,500 rpm and peak torque of 990 Nm at 1,500 rpm, the SRC885C combines power and efficiency. Its hydraulic system features a load sensing, constant horsepower piston pump with electronically proportional main control valve, delivering smooth, precise multi-function operation and high responsiveness. The dynamic swing brake system provides excellent inching performance and precise slewing control at speeds up to 1.8 rpm.

Safety is ensured through a comprehensive load moment indicator system incorporating third wrap sensor, boom length and angle sensors, lift cylinder pressure sensors, and a real-time display of crane operating parameters. This system provides overload warnings, cutout functions, and programmable height limiters for secure lifting.

The crane offers a minimum turning radius of just 7.5 meters (24’7”) in four-wheel steer mode, with a maximum travel speed of 35 km/h (22 mph). Its robust undercarriage supports stable operation with an outrigger footprint of 7.52 m x 7.4 m (24’8” x 24’3”), providing solid support on uneven ground. The outrigger system fully extends and retracts in under 25 seconds, while lifting and lowering completes in under 35 seconds.
