Product Description

The Tadano TR-100ML and TR-100M are small-class rough terrain cranes that deliver reliable lifting performance in compact, maneuverable packages. The TR-100ML has a maximum lifting capacity of 10,000 kg at 2.5 m radius while the TR-100M is rated at 4,900 kg at 3.9 m. Both models utilize a 6-section hydraulically telescoping boom built from box construction with synchronized stages (2/3 and 4/5/6), providing a boom length range of 5.2 m to 23.2 m. A single top jib (fixed) allows the maximum lifting height to reach 24.2 m.

The lifting mechanism uses dual single winches, driven by a hydraulic motor and planetary gear reducer, with automatic brakes and optional free-fall devices. The main winch offers a line speed of 114 m/min and hook speed of 28.5 m/min, while the auxiliary winch delivers 98 m/min. Both use 10 mm x 127 m (main) and 10 mm x 55 m (auxiliary) spin-resistant wire rope.

Boom elevation is powered by a double-acting hydraulic cylinder offering a range from -2° to 82°, with a boom elevation speed of 2.8°/s. Swing is achieved with a hydraulic motor and planetary gear reducer, delivering 360° continuous rotation and a swing speed of 2.8 rpm, along with a negative swing brake.

The chassis is built on a welded box-shaped frame and powered by a Hino W04D-T 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, producing 150 PS at 3,000 rpm and 38 kg·m of torque at 1,800 rpm. It features a 3-speed forward, 1-reverse power shift transmission with high/low settings, and 2WD/4WD selection. The suspension uses parallel leaf springs front and rear with optional spring locks.

For stability, the TR-100ML/M include fully hydraulic X-type outriggers with 3-stage width adjustment: 2.5 m (min), 3.5 m (mid), and 4.5 m (max). The TR-100ML offers a max vertical load capacity of 11.2 tons at the outriggers, while the TR-100M supports 9.8 tons. The hydraulic system features a gear pump and 172-liter hydraulic oil tank.

These cranes also include a variety of safety and convenience features, such as:

  • AML (Automatic Moment Limiter)
  • Outrigger extension width detector
  • Free-fall interlock and counterbalance valves
  • Hydraulic safety valves, swing locks, hook latches
  • Color display winch drum rotation indicator (optional)
  • Full cab with air-conditioning, adjustable seating, foldable seats, and large windshield with wipers

With an overall length of 7,290 mm, width of 2,000 mm, height of 2,800 mm, and a minimum turning radius of 3.9 m (4WS), the TR-100ML/M are built for agility in tight spaces. The crane has a maximum travel speed of 49 km/h and gradeability of 0.6, supported by 11R22.5–16PR tires and a 190-liter fuel tank.

In summary, the TR-100ML (10-ton) and TR-100M (4.9-ton) models are practical, operator-friendly cranes that combine compact dimensions with versatile lifting capabilities, making them ideal for industrial maintenance, utility work, and urban construction.
