Key Features & Benefits
The Tadano TR-350M is a versatile and powerful 35 metric ton rough terrain crane engineered for off-road lifting with exceptional reach, control, and reliability. Equipped with a five-section telescopic boom made from high-strength box construction, the TR-350M offers a boom length of 10.8 m to 34.0 m, extended using a hydraulically synchronized extension system for stable, precise movement.
To extend lifting versatility, a 2-stage swing-away jib is available, extending from 7.5 m to 12.8 m. The jib offsets at 5° and 30° and stores alongside the boom base, maximizing space efficiency and keeping deployment fast and simple.
At maximum configuration, the crane can lift 29,000 kg at 3.0 meters radius with 10-part-line on the main boom, and up to 3,000 kg at 78° on the jib with single-part line setup. The maximum lifting height reaches 47.6 meters with the jib, and 34.0 meters with the boom alone, while the maximum working radius extends to 31.0 meters on the boom and 37.0 meters with jib.
Lifting operations are driven by powerful hydraulic winches, each capable of 125 m/min line speed at 4th layer with high-torque planetary gear reducers. Both main and auxiliary winches support fast reaving and precise load handling via proportional speed control. The wire ropes are 19 mm diameter spin-resistant types with a breaking strength of 24.3 tons.
The swing system provides 360° continuous rotation via a hydraulic piston motor and planetary gear reducer at 2.8 rpm, with hand brake and free/lock changeover options. Boom elevation is achieved by dual hydraulic cylinders, providing a smooth -3° to 80° elevation range, with a full stroke achieved in 60 seconds.
The crane is mounted on a high-strength welded frame and powered by a Mitsubishi 6D16T diesel engine. This 4-cycle, 6-cylinder, turbocharged engine delivers 215 PS at 2,800 rpm and 65 kg·m of torque at 1,800 rpm, ensuring both climbing ability and operational power. Power is transmitted through a 3-speed torque converter with 3 forward and 1 reverse speeds, backed by a 2-speed transfer case for High/Low travel modes.
Mobility is another strong suit of the TR-350M. It features full-time 4-wheel drive and 4-wheel steering, with 2-wheel, 4-wheel coordinated, and crab steering modes, all switchable by the operator. This allows the crane to perform in tight spaces and across uneven ground with confidence. The maximum travel speed is 45 km/h, and it maintains good maneuverability with a minimum turning radius of 8.2 meters (2-wheel steering).
For operational safety and support, the crane includes:
- AML (Automatic Moment Limiter)
- Over-winding cutout
- Level gauge
- Drum lock and swing lock systems
- Hook safety latch and winch brake
- Hydraulic and telescopic counterbalance valves
- Overload and travel alarms
The cab is designed for both comfort and visibility. A two-man operator environment includes sliding doors, tinted windows, full instrumentation, adjustable control levers, and options such as cab heater and fan. The TR-350M provides intuitive operation with boom length, angle, swing, fuel, temperature, and pressure gauges prominently displayed.
With a gross vehicle weight of 32,050 kg, a fuel capacity of 300 liters, and a maximum outrigger load of 31.8 tons, the TR-350M is ready to lift reliably and efficiently across a wide variety of terrain and job types. Outriggers feature X-type hydraulic extension with a fully extended base of 6.5 m width for maximum stability, even on soft or uneven ground.
