The crane features a 74.8-meter, 7-section oval shape main boom, and an 18-meter standard jib with optional 8-meter extensions that enhance its range and lifting capabilities.
Engine and Performance
This model utilizes a dual-engine system for optimal power and efficiency. The superstructure is powered by a Cummins QS6.7-C260 engine, and the chassis is driven by a Mercedes-Benz OM460LA.E3A engine, combined with a ZF AMT transmission that includes a hydraulic retarder. This configuration provides a significant reduction in fuel consumption—30% less than similar cranes with a single hydraulic engine system.
Chassis and Mobility
The Sany SAC1300T7 is built on a 5-axle all-terrain chassis, featuring H-type outriggers and hydro-pneumatic suspension. The crane offers six steering modes and an impressive minimum steering radius of 8.5 meters, allowing for superior maneuverability. It can reach a maximum speed of 80 km/h and handle gradients up to 46%.
Operator Comfort and Control
The operator cab, branded as iCab, is designed for comfort and functionality, featuring a multi-function driver’s seat with air suspension, a 10.1-inch touchscreen with multimedia integration, and a rearview mirror with electric heating. It also includes adjustable high-brightness LED headlamps and a fully automatic HVAC system to ensure optimal conditions for the operator.
Safety and Additional Features
Safety and durability are prioritized with high-reliability crane harness wiring and a 42-ton full counterweight with a well-distributed axle load to ensure stability during operations. The crane’s design and features contribute to its flexibility and capacity to perform in a range of environmental conditions with reliability and ease.
