Product Description
Introduced by Sany as part of its premier line of all-terrain cranes, the SAC3000S8 is designed to deliver superior lifting performance, operational efficiency, and versatile terrain adaptability. With a maximum lifting capacity of 300 tons, this model utilizes an 8-section, oval-profile telescopic boom that extends up to 81 meters. When combined with a 40-meter luffing jib and superlift attachment, it achieves an outstanding maximum lifting height of 120 meters, ideal for tall industrial structures and wind turbine installations.
The SAC3000S8 rides on a 5-axle, 10×8×10 configuration all-terrain chassis equipped with Kessler axles and an H-type outrigger system measuring 9.47×8.3 meters, ensuring excellent stability during operations. It features all-wheel steering and six configurable steering modes—including all-wheel steer, crab, and rear axle lock—for superior maneuverability on constricted sites. The crane’s driveline incorporates a 360 kW Mercedes-Benz OM460LA.E3A engine compliant with EU Stage IIIA emission standards, paired with a ZF automatic transmission and hydraulic retarder for downhill braking. This setup enables it to travel at speeds up to 80 km/h while maintaining fuel efficiency and reducing brake wear.
The crane’s boom telescoping system is based on a single-cylinder pinning mechanism that reduces boom shock acceleration by 50%, with full extension and retraction taking approximately 850 seconds. The main winch offers a lifting speed of up to 125 meters per minute with a maximum line pull of 105 kN. The slewing system uses a closed hydraulic circuit and supports 360° continuous rotation at a speed of 1.5 r/min, delivering both precision and smooth operation.
Its superstructure is equipped with a modern control system integrated via a high-speed CAN-BUS network, ensuring real-time diagnostics and efficient communication between modules. Operator convenience is emphasized with a fully air-conditioned, angle-adjustable cab offering panoramic visibility, ergonomic controls, and smart interface integration with the LMI (Load Moment Indicator) system. Remote-controlled counterweight installation is available, supporting up to 90 tons in modular combinations.
The SAC3000S8’s hydraulics feature intelligent flow distribution, dual-pump confluence for efficient multi-function operation, and a self-weight luffing-down system for energy savings. Safety is further reinforced with electronic safety devices, overload protection, rope protection systems, and wind monitoring equipment mounted on the boom tip.
With its blend of high lifting capability, smart control systems, and robust terrain adaptability, the SAC3000S8 is a top-tier choice for high-demand lifting operations in industries like energy, construction, and infrastructure.
