Product Description
The SANY SAC7000T7 represents a pinnacle in heavy mobile lifting equipment, designed to handle the most demanding lifting tasks across energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. With a maximum lifting capacity of 700 tons, this all-terrain crane integrates advanced structural design, transportability, and intelligent control systems to provide unmatched field flexibility and lifting power.
Its core lifting structure consists of a 7-section U-shaped boom, extending from a base length of 17.2 meters up to a full extension of 90.1 meters. The boom is constructed using high-strength steel and a single-cylinder pin telescoping mechanism for smooth extension. Complementing this, the SAC7000T7 supports a fixed jib up to 50 meters and a luffing jib that reaches 90 meters, allowing a combined lifting height of over 150 meters with the use of a superlift system.
One of the distinguishing features is its Y-shaped superlift device, which significantly enhances long boom stability and increases lifting performance by over 200%, particularly beneficial for wind turbine erection (1.5–2.5 MW class). The crane also supports adjustable counterweight technology across three slewing radii (6.8 m, 7.8 m, and 8.8 m) with a total counterweight capacity of 163 tons, enabling better adaptability and less ballast for transport.
The SAC7000T7 is mounted on a 7-axle all-terrain chassis with 14×8 wheel drive and a maximum driving speed of 70 km/h. The steering system includes six modes, from conventional road steering to crab and yaw-free modes, giving it superb mobility even in tight workspaces. It incorporates a Mercedes-Benz OM502LA engine delivering 480 kW and 3000 Nm, paired with a 12-speed AMT transmission and advanced braking systems including engine, exhaust, and hydraulic retarder braking.
The superstructure is powered by another Mercedes-Benz engine generating 205 kW, with its own 350-liter fuel tank, supporting all crane operations through a multi-pump, multi-circuit hydraulic system. This system includes high-precision electric proportional controls, load-sensitive adjustments, and dual-pump converging/shunting for optimal action efficiency.
Operational speeds are equally robust:
- Main hoist rope speed: up to 130 m/min
- Boom extension/retraction: 1200 seconds
- Boom luffing: 95 seconds up/down
- Slewing speed: 0.9 rpm
Safety is engineered with high-resolution load moment indicators, anti-tipping alarms, wind speed sensors, and real-time CAN-bus monitoring systems. Both the driver and operator cabs feature full climate control, ergonomic seating, and multi-angle monitoring systems. The operator’s cab can tilt 20° upward for improved visibility during elevated lifts.
Designed for efficiency on- and off-site, the crane maintains a transport height of 4.2 meters (with superlift) and can cross 90% of Class III and IV roads without needing to disassemble key components—making it one of the most mobile heavy cranes in its class.
In summary, the SANY SAC7000T7 is a highly capable 700-ton all-terrain crane combining modern boom and hydraulic technology, transport efficiency, and comprehensive safety systems. It’s engineered to meet the rigorous demands of today’s mega construction projects with reliability and power.
