Tadano AR-2000M-2
The Tadano AR-2000M-2 is a high-capacity 200-ton all terrain crane equipped with a fully hydraulic five-section telescopic boom, reaching up to 50.1 meters, and advanced jib configurations for extended working range. With its FAUN RTF200-6 carrier and Mitsubishi 6D24-T upper engine, it offers exceptional lifting capability, mobility, and operational safety.

Product Description
The Tadano AR-2000M-2 is engineered for large-scale lifting operations, featuring a robust five-section telescopic boom that extends from 13.6 to 50.1 meters. The boom utilizes a full hydraulic system with dual extension modes: one where the second boom extends sequentially followed by simultaneous extension of sections 3–5, and the reverse. This flexibility allows the crane to optimize reach and capacity under varied jobsite demands.
For even more extended work, the crane supports optional fully automatic luffing jibs and manual luffing jibs, reaching up to 58 meters with extension jibs. The maximum lifting height with boom is 51.0 meters, and with jibs, it stretches to an impressive 109 meters, while the maximum working radius can reach 80 meters in its most extended configuration.
The lifting mechanism includes dual hydraulic winches with planetary gear reducers, automatic brakes, and high/low speed switching. Both main and auxiliary winches achieve a hoisting speed of 150 m/min (5-layer rope winding), using 24 mm non-rotating wire ropes. The crane supports various hook configurations: 200-ton (22-part), 120-ton (12-part), 80-ton (7-part), 25-ton (3-part), and 11.2-ton (single-line).
The crane’s upper structure is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D24-T diesel engine (11.9 L) delivering 255 PS at 1800 rpm and 105 kg·m of torque at 1400 rpm. It drives two variable-displacement piston pumps and dual gear pumps for efficient operation of all hydraulic systems. The upper has its own 1680-liter hydraulic oil tank.
Mounted on the FAUN RTF200-6 chassis, the carrier is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM442LA V8 diesel engine, producing 503 PS at 2100 rpm and 206 kg·m of torque. The automatic transmission features 5 forward and 1 reverse gear with torque converter and lock-up. The 12×6 drive configuration (with 12×8 off-road capability) and hydropneumatic suspension allow excellent maneuverability and a max road speed of 60 km/h.
Outrigger configuration includes a three-stage H-type full hydraulic system with up to 8.8 m spread, with automatic detection systems for outrigger extension and counterweight combination. The crane includes a wide range of safety features such as Tadano’s AML system (Automatic Moment Limiter), swing and elevation deceleration, anti-two block, rope anti-twist protection, and hydraulic safety valves.
Additional equipment includes air conditioning, FM radio, wind speed meter, rear monitor, hook movement display, and ergonomic cab facilities including a lunch table and hot/cool box. The machine can accommodate a two-person crew and includes transport options such as removable boom, counterweights, and upper structure components for road compliance.
The AR-2000M-2 is designed for critical infrastructure and industrial applications where lifting strength, extended reach, and mobility are essential.
