Product Description

The SANY STC800 is an 80-ton truck-mounted crane designed for reliable performance, efficient setup, and versatile lifting operations. With a maximum rated lifting capacity of 80 tons, the crane is equipped with a five-section telescopic boom made from high-strength fine-grain steel, extending from 11.8 meters to 45 meters. It can also be configured with an optional jib of 9.2 meters or 16 meters, allowing a maximum lifting height of 62.2 meters with the jib installed.

The STC800’s boom uses a U-shaped cross-section to reduce weight while maintaining structural integrity and improving safety margins. The boom extension and retraction are controlled by dual-cylinder rope mechanisms, enabling smooth and efficient operation. The crane’s telescopic system completes full extension in 120 seconds and retraction in 100 seconds, while boom luffing from -2° to 80° occurs in 60 seconds for raising and 80 seconds for lowering.

Powered by a six-cylinder water-cooled turbocharged Cummins diesel engine, the STC800 delivers 275 kW at 2,100 rpm and meets Euro III emission standards. The crane features an 8×4 drive configuration, manual 9-speed transmission (9 forward, 1 reverse), and a maximum traveling speed of 80 km/h. The chassis design includes double-axle drive with axle 3 and axle 4 powered, and a suspension system using plate springs tested for over 100,000 fatigue cycles, ensuring stable travel and load-bearing capacity.

The hydraulic system employs load-sensitive variable displacement piston pumps and an electronically controlled winch motor, enabling precise, energy-efficient operation. The main and auxiliary winches achieve single-line speeds up to 130 m/min, while the slewing system delivers smooth 360° rotation with a maximum slewing speed of 1.8 rpm, thanks to a unique rotary buffer valve design for enhanced control and micro-mobility.

Safety and operational efficiency are improved with SANY’s advanced electronic control system featuring a CAN-bus network, intelligent load moment limiter, automatic outrigger leveling, and real-time fault diagnostics. The system includes an automatic warning feature and displays crane working conditions, helping operators ensure safe lifts. The crane also includes integrated wind speed sensors, angle and length sensors, and built-in limiters for over-hoisting and over-rolling protection on both the main and auxiliary winches.

The crane’s outriggers use a four-point H-shaped configuration, extending to 6.1 x 7.6 meters for maximum stability. The standard counterweight is 4 tons, and the tail slewing radius is 4.1 meters, supporting work in relatively tight spaces.

Operator comfort is a focus of the STC800 design, with both the upper and lower cabs featuring ergonomic seating, air conditioning, panoramic sunroof (upper cab), integrated control displays, and safety glass construction. Additional features such as cruise control, remote radio control, axle load indicator, and backup camera enhance operator convenience and overall performance.

Altogether, the SANY STC800 offers a combination of high lifting capacity, modern hydraulic and control systems, and operator-focused design, making it a reliable and versatile solution for lifting projects in construction, utility, and infrastructure sectors.
