Tadano Corporation, a leading player in the crane industry, introduced the GT-1200XL-2, a robust 120-ton (US ton) truck crane designed specifically for the North American market. Launched in April 2023, this innovative crane incorporates the proven reliability of components from Tadano’s esteemed GR series of rough-terrain cranes, ensuring a high level of performance and durability.

The GT-1200XL-2 truck crane is designed and built completely by Tadano to provide customers with superior utilization, return on investment and lower cost of ownership. This 120-ton machine features a 5-section 167.3’ pinning boom, 33.1 ft / 58.1 ft bi‐fold jib, self-removable counterweight and a compact width of 8.5’. A powerful Engine and front/rear air suspension generate tremendous riding comfort.

Optimized Carrier Design for Easy Transportation:

The spacious full-size cabin, equipped with independent air suspension on the front and rear, ensures a comfortable ride for operators during extended journeys.

Long Boom Configuration:

With a 51.0m boom length and a 5-section pinning system, the GT-1200XL-2 boasts a class-leading long boom for versatile lifting capabilities.

Shared Crane Operating Components:

The crane operating section incorporates features such as cab tilt, a large monitor (AML-E), and smart chart capabilities, utilizing functions and components common to rough-terrain cranes.
