Kato KR-25H-V3 (SR-250sp-V)

The Kato KR-25H-V3 rough terrain crane is engineered for dependable lifting performance in tight or rugged environments. It features a five-section telescopic boom that extends from 9.5 meters to 30.5 meters, complemented by a two-stage jib that extends from 3.1 meters to 13 meters, providing a maximum lifting height of 44.2 meters when the jib is installed.

The crane offers impressive lifting capabilities, including a maximum rated capacity of 25,000 kg at a 3.5-meter radius with 7-part reeving. Other rated capacities include 12,500 kg at 5.0 meters (6-part reeving), 5,000 kg at 7.5 meters (4-part reeving), and 4,000 kg at 10.7 meters (1-part reeving). Maximum boom height alone reaches 31.2 meters, with a maximum working radius of 30.5 meters.

The KR-25H-V3 features a main winch that achieves hoisting speeds up to 107 m/min (third layer) using a 16 mm wire rope with a standard length of 175 meters. The boom elevation system operates from -0.8° to 83° in 40 seconds, and the boom extension system moves from 9.5 to 30.5 meters in 93 seconds. The crane swings at a speed of 3.0 rpm for precise load positioning.

It is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D16-TL diesel engine that produces 250 PS at 2,800 rpm and 72 kgm of torque at 1,400 rpm, driving a 4-wheel drive, 4-wheel steer carrier capable of travel speeds up to 49 km/h. The carrier features independent suspension, a 3-mode steering selector (2-wheel steer, 4-wheel steer, and crab), and a tight turning radius of 8.2 meters (2-wheel steer).

Safety features include the ACS (automatic crane stopper) load moment limiter, hydraulic safety valves, anti-two-block system, swing and travel alarms, and emergency stop switches. Operator comfort and efficiency are enhanced by wide visibility, intuitive controls, and advanced electronic monitoring systems.
