Product Description

The Kobelco RK130 rough terrain crane is built to deliver reliable performance in confined spaces and challenging ground conditions. With a maximum lifting capacity of 13 tons at a 1.5-meter radius, the RK130 features a six-section telescopic boom that extends from 5.3 to 23.8 meters. This box-type boom uses a combination of direct hydraulic extension (via two dual-action hydraulic cylinders) and wire rope extension for smooth, efficient operation.

An optional two-stage jib extends from 3.6 to 5.5 meters, providing a maximum hoisting height of 30 meters. The main winch delivers standard hoisting speeds of 110 m/min and up to 155 m/min in high-speed mode, while the auxiliary winch achieves 100 m/min standard and 145 m/min in high-speed mode. The boom elevation operates from -3° to 82° in just 29 seconds, and the swing system offers 2.4 rpm rotation with a compact tail swing radius of 1,600 mm.

The RK130 is powered by a Cummins QSB4.5 water-cooled 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 121 kW (165 PS) at 2,200 rpm and maximum torque of 588 Nm at 1,800 rpm. The drivetrain features selectable 2WD and 4WD with a power shift transmission (three forward and one reverse gear) and both manual and automatic shifting modes. This configuration provides a maximum travel speed of 49 km/h and 28° climbing capability. Steering includes 2-wheel, 4-wheel, crab, and rear-axle modes, delivering minimum turning radii of 6.5 meters (2-wheel) and 3.8 meters (4-wheel).

Safety and operational enhancements include an automatic load moment limiter, over-hoist prevention device, swing lock system, hydraulic safety valves, outrigger extension width detection, hydraulic cylinder locking mechanisms, and external overload warning lights. The cab offers ergonomic controls, adjustable suspension seat, air conditioning, power windows, sun visors, and electronic displays for hydraulic oil temperature, fuel consumption, and ECO-mode monitoring.

Outriggers provide five extension widths (H-type or X-type configurations), with maximum spans of 4.7 meters and minimum spans down to 1.64 meters, allowing stable lifting performance even in restricted spaces.

With its combination of compact dimensions, flexible boom system, efficient engine, and comprehensive safety features, the RK130 is well suited for urban construction, utility work, plant maintenance, and small-to-medium lifting tasks where reliability and maneuverability are paramount.
