Product Description
The Sunward SWRT25J is a mid-range rough terrain crane built for dependable lifting performance and enhanced mobility in complex job environments. With a rated lifting capacity of 25 metric tons and a maximum lifting moment of 862 kN·m, the SWRT25J delivers strong lifting capabilities across a broad operational envelope.
The crane is equipped with a five-section main boom extending from 7.0 meters to a full length of 28.0 meters, offering flexible lifting reach. An additional 9.0-meter jib enhances the working radius and lifting height for extended operations. The main boom can be elevated from -7.5° to 80°, facilitating versatile load positioning even in confined spaces.
The SWRT25J is powered by a Cummins QSB6.7-C240 engine, which is compliant with Euro III emission standards. This turbocharged diesel engine outputs 179 kW at 2,500 rpm and 1,160 N·m of torque between 1,600 and 1,800 rpm, delivering strong and efficient power for both travel and lifting operations.
This crane features a 3,600 mm wheelbase, 2,015 mm wheelspan, and overall dimensions of 9,175 × 2,495 × 3,440 mm (L×W×H). Its curb weight is approximately 27,500 kg, with a front axle carrying capacity of 13,800 kg and rear axle capacity of 13,700 kg. The outrigger spread is 6,300 mm horizontally and 6,000 mm vertically, providing a stable base for heavy lifts.
Operational performance is further enhanced by a slew speed of less than 2.1 rpm, and a high travel speed of up to 55 km/h. With a gradeability of 60%, the SWRT25J is well-suited for navigating slopes and uneven terrain. The crane also features a 9.4-meter minimum braking distance (at 24 km/h), a 400 mm ground clearance, and a turning radius of 5.15 meters (2-wheel) and 12.5 meters (4-wheel).
The boom can be fully extended or retracted in approximately 65/50 seconds, and lifted or lowered in 45/40 seconds, respectively. The base boom reaches a height of 8.6 meters, with a maximum boom tip height of 28 meters and jib height up to 38.7 meters. The rated lifting load using the main winch single rope is 130 meters per minute, allowing efficient and high-speed hoisting.
Fuel consumption is rated at approximately 50 L/100 km, ensuring economical operation across varied terrain. With its powerful drive system, extended reach, and solid build quality, the SWRT25J is a reliable and efficient choice for contractors requiring a nimble and capable rough terrain crane in mid-range lifting tasks.
