Product Description

The TR-600XXL-4 is a robust 60-ton (54.4 metric tons) capacity hydraulic rough terrain crane engineered for demanding job sites. Its superstructure features a round hexagonal box-type boom constructed in five sections, offering a telescoping range from 11.1 meters to a full 42.0 meters. The boom is powered by dual synchronized hydraulic cylinders and cable extension/retraction mechanisms, ensuring seamless and balanced operation.

To extend lifting capabilities, the crane includes a two-stage bi-fold lattice jib that measures 9.9 or 17.7 meters. This jib can be offset at 3.5°, 25°, or 45°, and conveniently mounts alongside the main boom for storage and deployment. The crane also features a single top auxiliary sheave for single-line operations.

Lifting operations are supported by high-speed winches powered by axial piston motors. Both the main and auxiliary hoists offer a line speed of up to 178 m/min and line pulls up to 8,260 kg (18,200 lbs). These hoists are fitted with 3/4″ (19 mm) wire rope and grooved drums, with a maximum rope capacity of 334 meters over seven layers.

Swing performance is ensured through a hydraulic axial piston motor driving a planetary gear reducer, enabling 360° continuous rotation at 2.5 rpm. For added safety during travel and pick-and-carry operations, a positive mechanical swing lock is included, operated from within the cab.

The TR-600XXL-4 is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D16-TLEE 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, producing 223 HP (166 kW) at 2,700 rpm with a torque of 521 ft-lbs (72 kgm) at 1,300 rpm. This engine is paired with an electronically controlled full automatic transmission, offering six forward and two reverse speeds. It supports up to 25 mph (40 km/h) travel speed and includes 4x4x4 drive and steering, with four steering modes: front, rear, crab, and coordinated. The minimum turning radius is 6.7 meters in 4-wheel steer mode.

The crane’s outrigger system features four hydraulic, beam-and-jack-style outriggers with four-stage extension options, ranging from 2.8 to 7.2 meters. Each outrigger has a built-in holding valve and self-stowing pads. The crane’s Tadano AML-L system automatically detects outrigger positions and selects the corresponding rated lifting capacity chart.

The operator’s cab is designed for both comfort and control, featuring a steel structure with large tinted safety glass windows, power window on the door, high-back adjustable seat, and optional heating and air conditioning. Controls include pilot-operated levers with a wide array of electronic monitoring instruments. The AML-L display panel provides real-time feedback on boom angle, load radius, tip height, outrigger state, and load status, enhancing lifting safety with automatic speed reduction and anti-two block systems.

Overall, the TR-600XXL-4 provides a balanced combination of strength, reach, and modern control features, making it an ideal solution for construction, energy, and infrastructure projects requiring high lifting power and mobility.
