Sany SRA1000A

The SANY SRA1000A is the flagship model in SANY’s rough terrain lineup, delivering enhanced lifting performance, mobility, and operator convenience over its smaller sibling, the SRA750A. Designed for heavy-duty applications such as bridge construction, wind turbine support, steel erection, and large-scale general construction, the SRA1000A blends power and precision with excellent transportability and control systems.

At the core of its lifting system is a five-section, full-power boom extending from 41.5 ft (12.65 m) to 154.3 ft (47 m). The crane also includes a two-piece hydraulically power-assisted lattice jib, extending up to 59.1 ft (18 m) for a total lifting height beyond 210 ft (64 m). This setup gives the SRA1000A significant reach and flexibility across a range of heavy lifting scenarios.

The crane is powered by a Cummins QSB6.7 Stage V diesel engine rated at 284 hp (212 kW) and delivering 950 lb·ft (1288 Nm) of torque at 1500 rpm. It’s paired with a Dana automatic transmission and rugged Kessler axles, providing four-wheel drive, high traction, and four steering modes for excellent off-road capability and jobsite maneuverability. The chassis supports a maximum transport weight of 100,000 lbs (45,360 kg) with the main boom and essentials onboard, while the hydraulically removable counterweight is detached via a dedicated wired remote control, requiring only one additional transport load.

The crane is equipped with powerful winches offering up to 23,900 lbs (10,840 kg) of line pull and 492 ft/min (150 m/min) wire rope speed, ensuring efficient hoisting and precise load control. A third wrap indicator with automatic function kick-out adds an extra layer of operational safety.

The operator cab tilts up to 20° for improved visibility during high-angle lifts and is equipped with a climate control system, enhanced insulation, and an electronic extendable catwalk for safer access during inspection or maintenance. Inside, the operator is supported by a 10.1-inch full-color touchscreen Load Moment Indicator (LMI) that offers a user-friendly, pictorial interface. It simplifies access to boom data, load charts, diagnostics, and operational parameters without digging through complex menus.
